In part 2 of my Mk special I get permission to film so we can take a look inside the shopping centre, or "mall."

I’ve been to Milton Keynes shopping centre countless times but it was great to get your perspective on it. I never realised you can’t smell McDonald’s but you can’t. Great video, very interesting, well done 👍

Your lucky if you shop there regularly, once I got to find my way around I love it. It's just getting to know it.

JL (is that you’re new handle?) great part 2. Following up on my comment on MK part 1, this is further reminder of places I in MK I’ve visited but didn’t know I liked! The grid patterned exterior of the shopping centre is very appealing with the graduated colours.

Yes a bit of a design classic that one though I've seen that kind of colour scheme used on a number of lesser buildings when they want them to blend in, warehouse/factory type stuff etc. Though without the grid pattern of the block of course.

Yes, it really is different. Quiet.I dont know who owns those scooters, but there's 3 or 4 on every corner over here. You hire them with your paywave card, but pretty expensive. The first week they arrived there about 50 people hospitalized, getting run over by cars etc. Thanks Johnny, take care.

I wonder who picks them up and recharges them when they are just left around.

Didn’t you see the concrete cows?

I'm not sure I did. I saw many, many sculptures though.

Need a place where you can moor up right next to the center to do all of your shopping. Maybe even moor up for a couple of days with power, water, an elsan for let.

Oh that would be awesome. What a pity they didn't extend an arm off the canal... maybe one day.

@@ProjectNarrowboat I think many of the cities and larger towns/villages would benefit from the added commerce.

Hi Johny, I love MK part 2. The Exhibition area, is where they do a Christmas Market with a huge Christmas tree and usually a big Helter Skelter slide too, and the whole area is dressed very festive. In the Summer during school holidays this area becomes a seaside with loads of sand, which makes a beach like area for the kiddies to play in. Thank you for sharing the video. Take care.
