Project Narrowboat ep 88 - Into Marsworth

Just a quick one this week as I take the boat into Marsworth, stopping along the way to empty the bins and fill the water... well it's gotta be done!

Excellent little cruise with no problems. That's what it's meant to be like. It would be nice looking down on the canal while having my breakfast toast and coffee, sitting behind a huge doubleglazed window with a constant 21deg C and waving to the world as it goes by. Or, better still, jump on board Dera Rosa and have the time of your life riding the world with Johny. Thanks again captain, take care mate.

Hey Phillip, no problems... apart from I dropped one of my bin bags in the drink. Good houses there for when it's time to hang the old windlass up.

Hi Johnny, I don’t often see boats moored on both sides of the canal. Maybe I just am not paying attention 🫤. Thank you for making the effort to show us the houses from the other side. Happy Easter 🐣

Quite a few places do on the GU, usually one side (or both for most of Marsworth) is long term mooring. Ideal house for a canal enthusiast, I wonder what they go for?

Hi Jim, selling, well sold I'm afraid. I could have sold her many times over. There are a few cruises still to show, plus stuff like my thoughts on boating etc etc, after that we'll see.

Hi Larey. 500 litres. Apparently that's 132 Gallons, US. It's adequate for one person for two weeks.
