Hi Penney. I enjoyed making this video (aside from the pc creaking and groaning!) not only is the Wendover arm quite interesting but I really like that deep cut that runs to Cow Roast - quite magical.

Thanks Johny, you've got all the skills and nous for this, a narrow, twisty, shallow canal full of branches wont hold you back. From the winding point to Roast Cow, sorry, Cow Roast, I was smiling. Fried egg on toast for breakfast didn't please my imagination. Not much wood on the roof anymore, tells a story. Whatever trip you take us on will be right up my street mate. Thanks, and take care.

Hey Lynette, maybe Cow Roast is where all the good narrowboats go to be sold! Actually I made it down just a little further so a couple more cruises to go yet. Yes, it's not a life for everyone. A lot of new people getting into it right now, I guess post pandemic life changes etc, see how many of them stick at it...

Hi Carole. Well, there are certainly plenty who do fish the canals, they are quite pollution free these days so I guess the fish are edible if you catch the right kind. But I'm not sure if the rules demand that you throw them back or what. I released mine :)
