Could there be a more convoluted process of getting a mod? These mods usually aren't worth the performance loss for the minimal difference anyway. Sure not paying to jump through these hoops to get it.

it would be very tragic to go through these hoops indeed. As an american, I want my food delivered to my house and everything I buy online has to be inserted in my anal cavity inside of two days.

It doesn't, the PBR edition will release eventually, I'm guessing it'll be a separate product

You're half right half wrong. PNG is not about the graphics, I mean it is but more for the Skyboxes!!
