I didn’t love the Summer Fridays mask either… as a mask. I ended up using the rest of my tube as a hand cream, and I quite enjoyed it as a hand cream.

I finished another Laneige Lip Glowy Balm (the Berry one this time), and almost finished a sample of the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk mascara (but threw it out because it's old and I recently used it while I was sick so thought I should toss it just to be safe). I also decluttered a Jouer highlighter that didn't have much use because it broke and I couldn't be bothered repressing it because I just didn't need it and I prefer my Bobby Brown one anyway.

have you or anyone tried the Laura Mercier translucent powder? Is the Hourglass one better for dry skin who gets oily besides the nose over the day? I'm liking the Laura Mercier one so far but maybe the Hourglass one is better? help :D

I have the original Laura mercier powder and it seemed always cakey on me. Even with a tiny amount. No matter what I tried I couldn't make it work to seem nice. I absolutely love the hourglass one. It has a luminosity though (personally I love it, but maybe not everyone). I use a tiny amount as well but it doesn't look too much.

I think in general the Hourglass powder is better for more skin types than the Laura Mercier powder, and I personally like the Hourglass one. If the Laura Mercier works well for you, I think you should stick with it. Maybe when you use the Laura Mercier up you can try a mini of the Hourglass if you are still interested? They are very different on the skin, you might not necessarily like both

I prefer HG over LM but I would recommend getting a mini to try it out when you're ready for another powder xx
