I was doing okay, and then we found another box in storage (we’ve been moving into a new place slowly) which had more makeup in it (!) and another full foundation of the one I was using up to try new ones. They were purchased at same time so will need to get through that one as well! 😂 have had more events though so have certainly been wearing makeup more than normal. So that’s a bonus.

Lmfao I had done the same thing to my nars compact fondation last month😂 I just said screw it and used the acetone since they dont sell it anymore. I despise nars packaging like why does it get sticky??

I am with you on Bum Bum cream - great formula, moisturising and quickly absorbing. Scent does not bother me, but I wish there was an unscented product on the market with same light texture, absorbency and moisturising properties. If anyone knows - please share!

Thank you Hailey! I'm watching these videos 4 years later. I started my 10mg (low dose journey) 12 days ago after trying everything natural to treat my acne. Watching your videos has really helped ease some of my anxiety. You're progress is incredible and my acne looks similar to yours when you started out (a little worse because I also have on my forehead) so your videos have brought me so much hope.

Oh! Best of luck with your journey on this, I know it's a scary medication but I have to say a low dose really is quite tolerable and manageable so just take each day and side effect as it comes. I hope you start to see an improvement soon, I highly recommend taking some photos at the start of each month so you can pop them side by side and see how far you have come, mine really helped me on the days where I was feeling a bit down in the dumps about the little things like my joints hurting or not being able to tolerate the sun or heat, when you see the changes it really helps to put it in to perspective. xxxx

Lisa Eldrige gloss is great in winter, it is a bit sticky but it's also nourishing - for me not so fun in summer time, but great when it is cooler weather. I was a fan of all liquid blush and bronzers, but now I also want to have powder option, as powder does not go bad so fast i would highly recommend using creams/liquids first iif you enjoy them

It's quite impressive. I didn't do any research on it and after trying it I went and watched Lisa's video on it, all I can say is a small amount applied to perfect skin doesn't do it justice in showing it's capabilities, I think it has a lot to offer! xx

Eventually I want to get the concealer and skin tint to try. I love LE products. The liquid highlighter is my most used product, and I use it to mix with lipsticks to create my own cream blushes. Thanks for the review! I'll wait for the exchange rate to drop, and work on using some other products first.

The skin tint definitely stole the show😊 I never bought a LE product but I would probably buy something else before the pinpoint concealing pencil, I don’t think it suits my needs.

I've watched Lisa for years and seen her use her pinpoint technique many, many times. So I understood what the product was meant to do as soon as I heard about it. I am interested...but maybe if I could swatch/try first, considering the price. Also want that skin tint!

Hailey, I think that the LE skin tint made your skin look great. Thanks for the thorough review of the LE concealer pencils. Since I am in Canada these concealer pencils would also be expensive and I will also look for a Korean concealer pencil the next time I visit an Asian beauty store here.

I rather like a spot concealer, pretty sure covergirl used to make one back once upon a time. I don't like the price for this one but I'll probably try one from the drugstore whenever that comes back about. I definitely understand who this is made for and I think it's a nice product. Concept I like, but it's flat out of my budget right now.

When I saw these I thought they were a liner for the waterline, you know for the lower line to brighten 😅 Just left me looking at my light eyeliner and wondering could a light eyeliner be used to spot conceal? In theory why not, makeup can be use in many mysteries ways, but has someone done it? 😅

Illamasqua had a nude liner that I used in the waterline so I kept it in my handbag for touching up in the day, and absolutely used it in a pinch as a concealer. It was great when a spot decided to erupt during the day, or I knocked the surface off a spot and it was looking raw. If you can find one that matches your skin at a better price, I'd say it's worth trying.

I love the skin tint, been using it for a long time. It's amazing! Looks great and natural, quick to apply, a little goes a very long way, love it for work. I have been curious about the pinpoint concealer as a companion if I have some spots as I do not really want to layer on more skin tint and a normal concealer for me is too cakey and ruins the natural look of the tint. You have convinced me! Thank you, such a great video from someone who I trust to understand the product and what it is intended for. For me who uses the tint, this is a great addition if I get some angry spots that needs additional coverage. 😊

Thank you for this review, particularly regarding the shopping experience. Like you, when I purchase online i want to know how much I’m spending. I haven’t used Beautylish since 2014 because of everything being in USD$ only, and GDP£ conversions are even more difficult, particularly because of taxes. I’m used to walking in store with the price on the ticket being the final price, maybe with a discount, but certainly not this business of a rude shock when the bank debit is way more than expected. Add on top of that the difficulty of shade matching online, and it can be a risky venture to buy online.

Lisa's products look so nice over all. I appreciate that she tends to be quite forthcoming about the limitations a product has. Unfortunately, like the AUD issue, the CAD makes it unlikely that I'll be ordering anything too soon.

I have wanted a product like this for years. Not just a pencil, but something that actually wears well through the day. I’ve seen people suggest dupes that I’ve tried, and they just don’t last on the skin. I hope this encourages other brands to formulate concealers this way and give cheaper options.

For your makeup category, I would remove the products you don't want to get rid of, but maybe won't use from your inventory like you did with your Kaleidos products and focus on using up what is still left in your inventory afterward.

Nice review Hayley! I have been obsessed with Lisa Eldridge. Her formulas are fantastic. The Foundation is a perfect match to my skin. Wish it wasn't quite so expensive! A couple of years ago I was on Lisa's site and prices were coming up in AUD, but it disappeared very quickly. I was going to buy the concealer pencils but Charlotte Holdcroft (on LE's PR list) hinted in her review video there is another new release coming soon, so decided to hold off.

This is probably one of the best reviews of the product I've seen so far. You've kept it realistic, where as others have expected it to do things that Lisa herself has said it won't do and then they've given it a negative review for it. Some have just been downright rude to those that either bought the product or planned to buy the product because of the pricing. So thanks for that. You've also made me want to get the tint back out. Edit to add: Lisa has commented on the text coming off and I can't remember exactly what she said, but it was along the lines of she is going to change it for the next batches so it won't be an issue.

Hahahha the exasperation throughout this video made me laugh. I have definitely found as I’ve moved to a drier climate and aged, my super oily skin has gone dry 😅 honestly unless it’s a super hydrating skin tint, I pretty much skip powdering my face with the exception of my under eyes. I’m just trying to use up the foundations I have now, because I prefer the powdered skin tint look.

Skin is still dry. I think the slightly dryer climate doesn't help but also I think the water quality has a big impact as well. It's manageable, you just have to be prepared to explore products until you find what works for you. Good luck if you decide to give it a go, I have no regrets :)

These type of lines are what’s wrong with the haircare industry!! Are you kidding me with the amount of products in one line?! There SO many redundant products. It’s very hard to determine what’s right for your hair type. You mentioned several that would be for bleached and fine hair. Come on….it’s ridiculous. They need to whittle this down to less options. I was so interested in this line but it’s like a Cheesecake Factory menu. I don’t have time for this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
