i love that u still feature older products and this project in general. i only buy products i think i can pan. which keeps me from buying a product i only want bc its new and pretty. also why i buy luxury brands, bc i stay excited to use it, like the chanel quads. my everyday eyeshadows i look forward to using.

I also had to declutter my abh modern renaissance end of April as I had severe eye issues with it and I don't miss it honestly! It was freeing actually and I have loved focusing on what I do have. Way to finish a lipstick that is monumental especially as they take forever. You have steadily worked through a lot of older things. It sucks when things go bad but its a good reminder honestly to not hoard a crazy amount and buy constantly and I think your declutter will help you to streamline what you have. I got samples of the Gucci lipsticks and I am not going to buy them as they are too creamy and too floral fragranced which I don't like which saved me so much money. I plan to work through them and enjoy the colours but it was a good thing for me not to buy into the hype without trying it first.

I have that Marc Jacobs bronzer that has turned out to be a favorite for me. I had better concentrate on using it before it goes bad. I did use up an ABH bronzer that I loved very much. I love the thoughtful way you let go of products that aren’t working for you. I’ve concentrated on really being faithful to what looks right on me and fits my taste instead of going for what other people love.

Glad to hear you're very conscious of what you buy and use. We need reminders that this! I read in many articles that liquid products should really be used for 6-12 months, powder no more than 2 years. I know I definitely hold on to things longer than that but products expiring or going bad, previous experience of having to throwing out things without finishing because it's expired & smell bad are reasons why I now only have the things I will use regularly. Mostly one thing per category. So that my makeup is always fresh.

I use the smell test too, in determining what I should get rid of. I am not one to hit pan on too many products, but I did just finish up a brow enhancer/growth product. It felt good to toss it, knowing that I never wasted a drop of it. Another product I hit pan on is the Wander Beauty powder foundation. I'd like to purchase another, but the company hasn't had my shade for quite a while. I think this may be an ominous sign..... Hi Sandra ! Very inspiring video . I don’t declutter a lot either. I had to declutter my Marc Jacob bronzer too but there was an enormous hit pan in it🎉. I completely used up my NARS translucent loose setting powder and replaced it by the Chanel translucent loose setting powder . So far, love it. Thank you for this video ! Have a good evening! 🌸

I liked the Sisley Blur powder before I bought the Chantecaille. The Sisley one has too much color and it got hard pan. The Chantecaille Blur powder is exceptional.

Your makeup in this video is 👌👌! That Merit highlighter is beautiful. I am in the UK and went into Boots today to try the Chanel Water Fresh Tint after you had mentioned repurchasing and I realised I had never got around to trying it - the lady on the counter said they only had one shade in stock and it has been impossible to find anywhere. I started searching everywhere online after that and it does seem to be true! Only a few shades here and there (and not the one I was looking for, sadly). This may support the reformulating and replacing theory! 😢 If that's true, I'm sad I never got to try the original!

I am 100% there with you and also more into single shadows and even quads!! if you mean a larger palette the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded has all the shades I need for day and night looks that are still easy and approachable.

Am I the only one who broke out a bit from the Fenty skin tint? I had such high hopes for it because I have a bit of a shiny t-zone, but i started to get odd bumps around my smile lines and on my nose.

Please be very very careful with using old makeup. I have perioral dermatitis, and it's much worse than regular dermatitis. You don't want to develop that, trust me :DD
