With tons of practice you had over the years has paid off by showing professional results. As well your video director did great job editing the results. Would love see how it looks down the road. I loved chrome though, guess everyone has their own preference. What you did was factory looking results! 👍🤟🏻

Thank you so much for such kind words of support... I agree that chrome is important to prevent the bike looking too 'stealth', but for me on this bike, the chrome is a little too much and just needs toning down to leave only accents here and there, rather than large areas!

Wow! So much nicer now it’s been toned down a little bit. I did the same with a Honda Shadow many years ago! Stock made Mr T look decidedly understated so some of that chrome just had to go. Afterwards I got plenty of compliments about how good the bike looked. Well worth doing. Enjoy. 👍

Pity you couldn't use the Tardis dematerialization sound there LOL As soon as you said Black Paint in the first episode I knew it was going to look amazing.... (I Hate Chrome LOLz) Chrome Blinds my eyes..... I fall over around chrome... Chrome shouldn't exist... =-P I'm going to teach myself how to spray paint with a spray gun... My idea... I have some large clear storage bins that I need to be non see through... So I figured I'd try them to learn on.... They have corners and tricky bits and long and short straight lengths.... And it doesn't matter if I mess it up.....

Thanks mate, the great thing with satin paint is that the finish is almost adjustable in that you can literally wax polish it gently to bring more shine if you want to... Happy with the results too!

Thanks Richard, there are still some largish areas to tone down and a fair few rusty bits to rectify... but the eventual result will be a nice balance of chrome accents with the satin black!

@Moonfleet41 you're right , I don't mind the satin chrome on mine but I've blacked out a lot of stuff , all the chrome trim.on the lights etc, hot them powdercoated with a local guy , great job for a good price. The Rocket 3 of yours is basically a new bike ay especially with the minimal mileage. All the best & hi to PP 👌👍x
