Is it thinners you wipe down with 😊 before spraying, great to see the end, it will blend in together quite well. Happy boxing day

Hi Andy, no, it's a wax and grease remover, takes away dust and any residues (happens to be in a thinners tin because it's convenient from a larger tin)... if you use thinners to wope down paintwork you've keyed it can actually melt the surface and screw up the keyed finish... but of course, thinners is perfect for de-greasing bare metal.

How many miles will the Rocket drive & last with proper maintenance.?? I know of a Chrome ,dome,,in Leavenworth Kansas,,for around $3,000 is that a high price for a machine that has 50,000 ""MILES"" not kilometers,,??

I completely agree with your choice of finishes for the screen and brackets but I think I would (irrationally) have a hard time roughing up factory fresh new chrome. 😁 Also I don't know if I've ever heard the term "flyscreen'. Again pointing out the difference between UK English and whatever it is we speak over here in the States. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season and don't work too hard. You're aboslultely right, I don't always have access to a spray booth, make the most of it when I can... but the rest of the time I make do with sheets and covering everything!
