Everything you talked about in your video is spot-on. I pre-ordered and received my Dual Type S Exhaust from Ballade Sports and the packaging was terrible. My exhaust definitely moved around during shipping because the tip actually ended up poking a giant hole out of the box. Thankfully I didn't have any major damage. Overall install led to poor fitment. They even included an extra bracket for added support but I didn't install it since I didn't know how. But my exhaust is lower than normal and doesn't align properly whatsoever. Ballade also had poor customer support on my end too and they forgot something in my order. Overall, the sound of the exhaust is 10/10 for me but everything else was not worth it. As of typing this comment Ballade actually announced a Titanium version.

Sorry to hear you had a similar experience. Titanium would be cool but I'm never buying from Ballade again haha

I can’t speak on everyone’s behalf but I myself ordered the dual exhaust TYPE S from ballade and it arrived with no damage and it was packaged very well. Again I think mistakes happen but from me there are no complains.

I have purchased parts from ballade sports a few times. I’ve never had an issue with their products, but their customer service is terrible.

Luckily no problems on my 2002 AP1 for the single exit, but even with the test pipe and ballade's race header, it's still sorta quieter than I thought. Hopefully it just needs to break in.

Sounds like you got a good one then! I did find mine get a bit louder after driving it a bit!

Rougemotorsports and ballade still claim that the type s exhaust has no fitment issues on 06+ years. DIYGuys had fitment issues aswell as I did on our 06+ models. No matter how much I fiddled with it, wasn't able to get it to fit right. Best I could do was use extended hanger bushings but the exhaust would still rub on high G-force right turns.

They did pretty much a copy of the flow path for the original ASM Special S so I don't know how it wouldn't have 06+ fitment issues. Hell I have a 2004 and have fitment issues lol

@@jonyrho Definitely it is a lot louder vtec but so addicting. Drone is not a ton but it is there, for me its a manageable amount. Driving at lower revs you won’t be too loud but when vtec hits it gets decently loud.

The ASM exhaust had fitment issues I believe from 2006+ s2000’s. Idk what year your AP2 is but DIYGUYS did mention that in his vid but I think that might be why you have some fitment issues

I have a 2004 so it wouldn't have the same fitment issues

Shoot my ap1 fits perfect. I feel like they developed the exhaust using an ap1.

AP1 and early AP2 have the same tunnel design so it should fit the same. My fitment issues likely came from their poor packaging that tweaked the exhaust in multiple ways

yeah ballade sports is just sus ,from there parts to there customer service they unfortunately a poor company in term or selling leaky tct’s and poor customer service.
