Hey i have a 67' 800- with the 196cu. It's a copper brown and cream which I know is not original but her name is Miss Moneypenny. Totally following you and all the progress you've made so far!

I also have a 67 Scout which is also the same blue as yours. It was my first vehicle however my 64 model 80 is my baby.

Did your 64 have the tilt down windshield and upper mounted wiper blades? I always thought that was a cool look. My wife thought it was crazy for the windshield to flip down, but then I reminded her, she drives a wrangler and they do that as well.

I have two 1961 scout 80s and two 1962 scout 80s. I have the same kind of plans that you do. I also have a donor vehicle which is a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2 Wheel Dr. I do not want too make a four-wheel-drive. I have a 2002 Jeep TJ. I am planning on making a 2 Wheel drive automatic transmissionScout to pull my 1964 airstream Bambi II. I also own a 1948 international Harvester KB5 truck I also owned quite a few international harvester cub cadet garden tractors. I have just been collecting, now I am finally getting a little time to start restoring and I will be posting on my channel. I definitely will be watching your progress and learning as you go as what obstacles you run into . Good luck on your project.

From what I hear vw bought international and travistar and are gonna produce a modern scout

Yes, I work with a VW dealer and that is the word out. I was at Harvester Homecoming and the new President of the Scout division was there meeting all the enthusiasts. Hopefully, they make other options than just EVs that have been talked about.

@@macyacres well then maybe this was a god send I've been trying to make my own version out of old 1960s scouts .I have a ton of ideas that would blow jeep and bronco out the water
