This was originally supposed to be a red herring song (as Sans dies in the Chaotic Route early on, leaving a fight with him impossible), so I don't think it'll be used for Dark Neutral. It hasn't gotten a remaster like many songs made earlier on, too.

this song serves the same purpose on the ps!outertale soundtrack that STMPWYFS does on the undertale soundtrack. STMPWYFS is there to make you think that it will, well, play when you fight sans, so you aren't expecting megalovania. in contrast, while Outertale's Megalovania is also here to make you think it will play when you fight sans, the twist is that instead of a different song playing when you fight sans, you just don't fight sans.

Unfortunate that a PS!Outer sans fight was basically scrapped If it was actually in the game then sans would definitely fit in dark neutral

Sans's battle discarded in dark neutral left me very sad, the problem was still that disappointing ending of dark neutral, the chaotic route (apart from the kind of ending) is very good, it could be replicated very well in dark neutral with a battle with sans the game is still very good, but dark neutral was a huge disappointment

ok, so criticism, SPOILERS this games really good, like i like the direction and where its heading but like the only thing i dont like is that sans dies too early in the genocide route, i mean like, in my opinion killing off sans early was just a way to get rid of the character and not do anything with him in the genocide route, then immediate killing off papyrus and not doing anything with him basically proved that point, i mean i know sans died early on but i expected some kind of "fight" early on but it honestly just felt pretty lazy and just a big "screw you" to the community, i mean i get most people really hate sans for being really popular but he was basically killed off without purpose, but cmon, doing nothing with the character isnt a way to fix that, and making a megalovania is just ANOTHER way to say "screw you" to the community, besides all of this, this fangame is really good from what i've seen so far and i will be playing it when it releases

@@spacey_432 "It does more with Sans" It doesn't do much with Sans other than give him extra dialogue about how Frisk is still a good person, which doesn't entirely make sense to me because one, they gained MORE LV in this than they did in Chaotic, even. Two, they left the outpost to rot in a long, depressing anarchy, and Sans KNOWS how much this will ruin monster life. I didn't expect a boss fight, but I at LEAST expected him to react realistically with "I took it easy, and this is what happened. Go to hell", like in UT. Here, he forgives you because you said you felt bad about literal GENOCIDE. HUH???
