There are so many good takes on the series in the fandom, but this... OMG! This is something I never expected. It feels exactly like the first five seasons or so. Just seeing this teaser gave me the goofiest smile on my face. The models, the scenery, everything looks spot-on to the original series and I love it. You even got the footage to look like it was shot on the original cameras complete with the gate weave. Now that is spectacular attention to detail that I wish more fan works tried to replicate. From this shot of Thomas alone, I can already tell this is gonna be incredible.

This is like a renaissance of the classic series! It’s truly magnificent to see this team of talented individuals reviving that brilliant and unique filming style that the classic Thomas the Tank Engine series had pioneered all those years ago. All the ingredients to a classic Thomas episode are all here. A dedicated crew, models made by a whole new generation of builders, the iconic periscope lens, and that large soundstage that makes us feel like we’re back in Shepperton Studios. I can’t stop rewatching this, CLASSIC THOMAS IS BACK! And it’s all thanks to this amazing Fandom that’s been keeping this show alive more than Mattel ever could. I always wondered why I saw all of these great people make gauge 1 replicas of the Thomas models and not create a sky background or grass mat for them, but I never would’ve expected something of this scale! I truly hope this is what will be accepted as the new Thomas instead of looking to All Engines Go for something half decent. Everyone who worked on this did a spectacular job and I hope more models and stories get made!

Well Game Geek, they're doing an awesome job reviving the model series. I hope they could also re-build and replicate the other engines and non-rail characters as well as those that only appeared at the CGI and 2D. Plus when it hopefully gets popular just as it had back then, they could reform the show in 60FPS and re-audition the voice stars (US and UK), if they're each interested, to re-voice their respective characters.

OMG, it comes out the day after my 22nd birthday! That gets me all the more pumped! Anyway, when saw the David Mitton section of the trailer I legit cried... This, to me, is definitely a love letter to the former crew members who worked on the model era of the show. The props and sets look incredibly accurate, and are just gorgeous, especially when they reflect on the fifth series (my personal favourite)! As a UK fan, I am very proud of everyone who put in an incredible amount of effort to make it all possible. Cannot wait until the day comes, well done to you all!

Just when we thought all hope was lost. Wilbert Awdry was right about the Americans destroying the show. They made engines into something that could never be Awdry’s creation. The show ended, replaced by some bouncing Paw Patrol Rip-off, and Bwba, it’s Previous stage and when we thought we had no hope, there was a light, at the end of the tunnel.
