Pretty much the people behind this channel built the sets to look exactly like the sets you see in the OG show, and they used a VHS filter to make it look like the old episodes. And they built the models and made the faces to also look like it did in the show. As you can tell by the video, a lot of thought and effort went into making this 😁

Also, they use remote controllers to move the characters.

Heyo kandlel! :) Thank you so much for answering some of the questions that I had about the production behind the video. The VHS filter makes a lot of sense but it's so cool to see that they included that as a small feature. Like you said, the effort behind this project is very clear to see, so it's very reassuring to know that this community has a lot of dedicated fans who create videos like this one. I haven't checked yet, but I'd love to see if FlyingPringle has uploaded similar videos. If not, I totally understand since this one apparently took like over a year or so to create. In general, this was a really cool video to watch. Thank you again for the info and for checking out this reaction. Have a good one! :]

Heyo karine! :) Is this video a favorite of yours from FlyingPringle? I had only heard good things about it, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear that there's a general support for it. The editing, audio, and visual effects were all done extremely well. I can't imagine the actual amount of time that it took to create something like this, so I applaud everyone who contributed to it. Thank you for explaining some of David's work. The set designs for Thomas the Tank Engine have always interested me. They're super detailed and fun to look at, so I'm not surprised that people really honor what he did for the franchise. Thank you again for the info and for checking out this reaction. Have a good one! :]

To explain David mitton worked on a series called “thunderbirds” in the 60s David mitton was the director of the original series of Thomas the tank engine and friends from season 1 (1984) to season 7 (2003) Unfortunately he sadly passed away in 2008 and his work on Thomas will be remembered

This is a pretty convincing episode. The Thomas community is so creative and talented to do stuff like that it got the official Thomas KZbin channel to make a series of videos call the thomas creative collective where fans get to make and produce Thomas videos for the channel itself!

Heyo nathan! :) Woah I had no idea that was the case. I'm sure that the channel doing that has made the community feel appreciated and acknowledged. I'll have to look through the official channel to see which ones have been uploaded. I totally wouldn't be surprised to know that videos like this have been featured. The amount of detail and effort that was put into this project is very evident. Thank you again for letting me know. I look forward to seeing more dedicated fan content like this in the future. Have a good rest of your day! :]
Yes, Tug even mentioned this project last year, saying how a Thomas model production of this scale hasn't been done since Season 12 of the main show back in 2008. David Mitton was the director of classic Thomas S1-7. Also this plot on Toby's branch seems mostly based off Tug's findings for his model era Sodor map, and that the shed at the crash in "Oliver's Find" was Toby's, and his old tramway got restored in S5.

Heyo cartoon! :) Aw that's great to hear, I'm glad to know that you were looking forward to it. I've had this reaction saved for a long time, so I was excited to finally watch the video. It's very obvious that a lot of time and effort went into the creation of this fan made episode. I'm always very impressed with how creative the Thomas & Friends community is, especially with detailed projects like this. I look forward to checking out more videos like this in the future. Heyo stuart! :) Thank you so much for that helpful feedback. I'm never quite sure whether or not my reactions actually help to add any commentary or genuine opinions to the videos that I am watching, so hearing that is very reassuring. This video was certainly interesting to check out since the detail and plot were very thought-out and clearly had a lot of effort put into them. I've seen a bunch of videos from the locomotive community on KZbin and this video definitely helps to show how dedicated the fans are to the original franchise. Thank you again for your support and for checking out this video, I appreciate your time. Have a good rest of your day! :]

Hello! I loved the video. It’s always nice to see people checking out Thomas stuff. I have so many things I want you to check out. Can you check out The Unlucky Tug’s “The WORST Era of Thomas sort of Seasons 14 & 15 Revisited?” And after that, I recommend watching “Thomas season 14 & 15 Rewatch Highlights” by the same channel. Thank you!

Its as if this was a legit classic episode. 2 videos i recomend reacting to. 1, mrconductorfan1406's Magic railroad parody. And a youtube channel named Trampy who rewrites classic thomas episodes to include comedy.
