always love the E46 wagon - the manual swap is such a good idea, it completely changes the drivability of the car, really brings it alive compared to the auto drive loss

Hey there friend all the way from America here I got a 325i 01 can't wait to see this build especially if you do a manual swap as I'm going to be doing that and an engine swap I'm pushing 240,000 miles on my touring I figured I'll do 3.0

Nice! 240,000 miles is a solid effort. Yea definitely worth going to the 3.0 while in there 👍👍

@@AngusLoggie. hey thanks a lot man it's definitely got a lot of miles on the engine and the only things I usually got to worry about or those pesky lean codes that pop up every once in awhile but I'll be getting rid of that very soon

I just purchased my first BMW two weeks ago. A truly old man base spec 2002 325i x drive 5 speed Manuel sedan with very low millage. It's the perfect car for harsh winters we have here in eastern canada. I would say manual is defiantly the way to go😃

Nice! That’s such a cool first BMW. I have had that engine transmission combo (no 4wd) in a 5 series and loved it. Such a smooth engine, loves the revs, probably one of my favourites. Manual swap is the go (funds pending) :)

It’s not worth manual swapping a 318. Put a 6 cylinder in there with the manual swap.
