Project: UCRONIN ~ Full Short Film [My Little Pony Infection AU]

Yes, this VERY heavily inspired by the written fan story, "The Cough". Is it a recreation or plagiarism of it? N o . I simply was inspired by the cough and many other infection au's on KZbin to write my OWN story. This may seem very similar to "The Cough", but I took some very big liberties to make sure it didn't seem like I completely stole the idea, because I didn't!! If you want to check that one out, please do! It's a pretty decent story. Anyway, please enjoy both that story and this one! The team and I worked super hard to make this, and I hope everyone can give me some positive feedback. ^^

And ya did! It was such a fun video to watch! Also it's more intresting than the cough because there's actually physical evidence of the disease and this feels like there's more emotion in it... Btw, I do see similarities but hey that's bound to happen! Infection apocalypse stories have scenes like this in em all the time of 'oh, someone in this room is possbly infected' so it's fine. Edit: wanted to specify what type of apocalypse stories...I mean zombie/infection ones...not ones like nuclear fall out unless those have infection stuff in em too.

I have to say The confirmation that BOTH Rarity and Twilight were infected is fascinating Because in The Cough, it's heavily implied that fluttershy was lying about being the one who coughed But here there's physical evidence that Rarity was too, even if Twilight refused to come clean. It's a very good twist to add to an homage to the first infection fic

These AUs normally just ignore the other races mostly. Sadly most of them also either have Spike get infected/killed or just plain forgot he exists.

It really brought the story to life and now I'm super hooked onto it! The plot/story, the voice acting, the art...it really got me hooked! The surprise from the horn cracking, the dramatic reveal....the despair in the voices to really bring on the feels...the twist at the end...oh my gosh! Just can't stop rewatching it lol! Sorry if I sound like a broken record with repeating the stuff lol! Just was so good! Now I can't help but wonder how long twilight had been infected, how she got it...aaaand how she hid her horn crack from her friends!

@@zozupskystar8639 I’m glad you’re such a huge fan of this! I had a vision in my head, then pitched it into a full written story, got some friends on board, and boom! Me and my friends are more than happy this came out SO well!! And feedback like this makes it all the worth.😄 Whenever I finished the story, my brain thought of plans for hypothetical sequels and/or prequels, that is… if the THIS thing did well! With how much traction this is earning, I wouldn’t hate the idea of that now…👀 We’ll just see what the future holds. ^^

(Btw if I really like a story or something like that, my mind focuses on it and makes up a bunch of questions and theories about the topic! So I tend to ask a lot of questions about something if I really like it! Also gonna share incase any questions spark up ideas for stuff or idk lol!) How did the infection start? How is it spread? My guess isn't through bites because rarity in the art didn't look like she was bitten. She had no bitemarks on her. What happened to the princesses? Did they die or get infected? We know alicorns can catch it via twilight catching it and I was kinda guessing alicorns could because they are a combination of all 3 ponies...and one of them is unicorn! How did it get to ponyville? Did it start in the everfree like other infection stories since it seems to be a trend that they start somewhere in the ever free? Who's patient zero? Did they unknowingly spread it before the virus was identified or were they quarantined when first made sick but then Escaped and that's how outbreak began? So many questions... Edit: Grammer mistake! Got too excited when typing it I forgot to check it lol!

Tropes exists. In this case the 'someone in this room is infected' trope. Plus stories can be similar but different. I mean look, some infected aus are similar but have intresting twsits. Like cough gets everyone, this disease gets only those with magical horns (or atleast it seems like that since it's 'unicorns only' but it's clear alicorns can get it too.)

It was heavily inspired by that, yes. But me outright stealing it? No no. I admit, I was super scared of the story coming too close when I was writing it. I tried adding in my own ideas and thought they would look cool in a video format. But if you want to be rude about it, then thanks a lot. In fact, I wasn't even inspired by the original story itself. A video done by StarlyCookie, rather. So there's your credit's worth.
