@@DGResult The world of Project Wingman doesn't have nukes per say. Their counterpart is a cordium warhead, with cordium being a fictional ressource which is important for energy production. But a cordium explosion destabilizes cordium deposits in the immediate area which causes it to explode as well and then you have a runaway effect. The explosions can be so bad that the worlds tectonic plates are disturbed and cause massive earthquakes and volcano eruptions along the fault lines. So it's a doomsday weapon.

I wish we could’ve gotten to know Crimson 1 a bit more. I remember the experience of fighting his team for the first time. They were almost untouchable. Each of them were extremely skilled pilots. Crimson 1 seems like a man scarred and nearly broken by the calamity. All he has left is fighting. He cut down my comrades in a rage that slaughtered thousands. I still cannot help but respect him in his final moments, and imagine what could have been.

It's a shame that Crimson One's story wasn't really fleshed out with more consideration during game play. His reactions where just singular in a sea of reactions from others up until this point. This one scene made me play through the whole game again with a new appreciation.

I got through playing this game a week ago. The ending was beautiful. I'd taken the fight up into the clouds after one too many close call with the ground, around about the time I got his first health segment down. Everyone should do the same, in my opinion. It makes it more enjoyable. When the rest of the HUD disappeared, it felt like some sort of symbolism. He wasn't out of the fight yet. It was Monarch and Crimson in the air- no one else. Nothing else mattered in that moment. No mini-map, not your score, not your health. This wasn't about the planes. It was the pilots that mattered. The music, too... it was perfect. It felt peaceful, despite the radar and locking tones and explosions. I actually felt calm, compared to Crimson's rage. And lastly, the final part... I don't generally feel emotional from games. I rarely do. But as Crimson delivered his final line, and as he blew up... that's what made it beautiful for me. I was very close to the final explosion at the time, so close that I flew through the embers surrounding it, and I was already perfectly positioned, flying into the sunset, through the embers of Crimson 1's demise.

When I beat him I wasn’t expecting the final battle. So I had to beat him in my f16 on hard. I knew I didn’t have a chance in the air so I would fly under the bridge. Then weave through the buildings. By the time it got to the ending sequence I was at about 15 or so hull. I truly felt like an ace pilot in the moment and the last sequence felt like two tired warriors battling it out until the end. Especially since I had spent almost all of my missiles and it was either guns or die.

When I first played this game on Easy Mode, I defeated him relatively easily with the F/S-15. Probably because I have experience from playing Ace Combat 7. During my 2nd run on Hard Mode, I waited to get the extra bits of dialogue from him before fully killing him.

To be honest the story was generic and most of the missions were too but HOLY SHIT was the final boss fight good. There was no timer or scoreboard like ace combat would’ve put in. Purely just a death match between what felt like to be Gods clashing. The surrounding area scorched with millions dead and the music was absolutely amazing. To sum it up I never would’ve expected it to be that good but I do wonder what happened after the boss fight though. Like what happened to hitman 2,3 and awacs galaxy

In my opinion, all ground forces are dead, cus idk how anyone could survive THAT. Air Forces, depends on where they were. If Monarch is alive then Diplomat and Comic must be alive because they fly just behind monarch at the end of mission 20.(idk where they went though) Galaxy must be alive as AWACS usually stay very far back and above the battle. Kaiser is hopefully alive I doubt he would be on the frontlines (but maybe)

There's actually an epilogue in the log files if you check it out. If you want the short version: Cascadia pays off Sicario despite The Hitman Squadron being officially declared as criminals. And the Federation is in deep crud, Their war assets are mostly lost and their reputation is ruined due to the destruction of Cascadia by Cordium based WMD. Many nations including some of the Federation's member states are now insurgents against The Federation and they are backed by Cascadia, now an independent state and haven for mercenaries among foreign powers.

This boss sucks on hard and mercenary, it ain't hard like the aces on AC which is fair plane against plane, pilot against pilot, some SP weapons but with the right interval between them, this one is just boring, 95% does not even hit just pollute the screen with useless gimicks that serves no purpose besides tricking the player into evading something that won't even hit, plus the first two phases is so easy, and on the third it looks like the devs noticed how easy it was and just decided to trow a billion random attacks that it is almost impossible to evade, especially the energy balls. I haven't finished the game beause I'm so fed up, I tried 3 times and just gave up, especially after discovering that after depleting the boss health you need to keep fighting, I mean what?! I'm game designer my self, and this is poorly designed, especially comparing to other games like AC, hell, the souls games with all that bullshit can be more understandable than this, and the ending sucks, just a text? If wasn't for this boss I would give this a 9,5 rating, but this boss? 7,5 at best, not counting the weird story, what really sells this game is the conquest mode, that is a blast and so fun, in fact the campaing looks like the waterdowned version of the conquest. If you planning on buying just ignore the campaing and play the conquest, if you planning on playing the caompaign, overrall is easy, too easy, but the last boss, be ready for the last phase and the after last phase. Overrall, this game is good, but I don't see myself coming back like I do with the Ace Combat series.

@@Airsickword HAHAHAHAHA no it isn't, this game is easy, just the last phase of the boss is poorly designed, and trust me when I say that it is hard not because it was designed to be, clearly was put together at the last moment because the first two phases of the boss is ridicously easy, he simply can't hit you even if you try to get hit, and then hoho, here's a buttload of energy balls, macross fanservice and railguns and that huge amount of health and i counted is 30 plus normal missles to defeat him, not counting the "I can't lose to someone like you" phase which is at least 5 or 6 more missles if not more. Yeah just like AC, only is not, this game is it's own game, sort of. Worst part is that you can't change the difficulty of the game when you are on the last boss. Is just a mess, not fun, not challenging and when it is, it's ridicusly hard, it does not have balance at all. This fight remember the fight agains Pixy if Pixy decided to spam lasers, MPBM X4 and missles at you all at once. I rather be a "normal" fight which I go down with 2 shots and the enemy go down with 6 than that. Aside from this the game is really good and pretty impresive for a team of 4 guys.

It all really comes down to opinion I love AC7 and Project Wingman but I like Project Wingman more of the none scripted boss battles, superior dogfighting with more emphasis placed on guns and missiles not needing to be directly behind someone to hit, the story isnt anything special but the mid mission radio chatter is fun and personally better than AC7s radio chatter. This boss fight though I disagree with everything you said except for the red energy balls those were bullshit but other than that this final boss was amazing. Yeah it has a huge healthbar but it would be boring if you took it down like a normal aircraft with two missiles or like a peacekeeper aircraft with like 7 or 8, this aircraft is a mk1 version made to be the ultimate aircraft of course it's going to be difficult to take down. You even fight a prototype in a earlier mission. Also what @Airsickword1287 said was right if you use superior movement you can get behind this aircraft and pound it.

@@Oclur @Rulco 005 You are right about that most of my health was lost to those energy balls, but I still think they are pretty dumb and not explained at all, we dont get any files on PW mk1 after we beat the game and none of the other enemies use anything similar. Also Crimson 1 is definutely not a generic enemy. Generics enemies only use standard missiles, burst missiles, or guns. Meanwhile Crimson 1 uses standard missile, multilock burst missiles, railguns, railguns but more, and 2 kinds of energy spheres. I dont think hes a generic enemy. Would you call Pixy from acz a generic enemy.
