Artist is Matt Plog. He has done work for Catalyst for a long time. You can commission him to do customs for you. That is what these and others have done. They paid money out of their own pocket for the artwork.

And it shows. I should have commented on the quality of the art. I think it's mentioned in the forward, but don't quote me on that.

My imagination vs. artists values suggests that the creators of the TRO spent upwards of a grand on the art, or in that area. Art is a tricky thing since it can take many, many hours of work to produce a good piece, and yet one has to value the time in such a manor as potential customers can afford. My guess about $100 per piece, which would still fall short of the time and effort put into said piece.

Say, Mark, have you noticed how much better these fan projects do vs. say, BT novel reviews? This one passed 200 views in ten hours whereas most of my book reviews rarely break 50 over a year or longer.

@@markcalhoun9480 Hopefully we'll come across some more of them. While there were some things I'd have done different, or would have included in the TRO, it is very well done. Even if the art work had been cruder, it is still very useful for anyone wanting to run Hell's Horses as a faction. In my opinion, of course.
