Great video looks like you are as ready as you will ever be. Steve seems to be an excellent choice for crew. How did you two meet him? Good thing you are bringing an extra hand along Desiree may not be able to stand a regular watch schedule and may just have to stand watch when she is feeling okay. I am so glad your back sailing and you both look so good now too. The Rainman water maker is a great idea as saves so much pluming and when goes wrong buy a new one plus can easily replace the parts that are supposed to be used up. Also with baby on the way means water when you want it.

Beaufort is also where family members can stay who visit their loved ones at Camp Legume, Marine Corps Boot Camp East of the Mississippi. I dove 3 wrecks while there, my 1st blue water Scuba Diving experience.

When I remember all the things that have transpired since you poked your screwdriver into the head bulkhead in Panama, until your arrival in Beaufort more than a year later, I am just in awe of how you have come through it under full sail! I agree with Desiree that you have prepared well for this crossing and everyone's confidence is high and concerns are low. Jordan, your narration during the tour of Beaufort was really well done. You seemed to say just the right things in just the right way. This is one of your strong points, along with the editing. But this one seemed to really stand out for me. When I notice the extent you two have gone to in order to prepare and shoot your videos, I find this pretty impressive as I have tried to do it myself, and know it is "attention to detail" and a good imagination. Apparently there are some who benefit from their college education! Since Desiree has gotten pregnant, your personality seems to have "gentleized", while Desiree's humor has sharpened! Desiree, this is going to be a veritable heaven for you! You will get all the enjoyments of the taste of food and NONE of the calories! How great is that! And think of all the isometrics you will be doing preparing those abdominal muscles to PUSH! Do you have a rain catchment system yet? I'm predicting you will get another 7K subscribers and reach the quarter million mark while on Malta!

16 years in the uscg here...a single epirb will trigger a response I've flown on accidently set off epirbs to include one on a navy boat before. I'd add dummy lanyards so you can secure the epirb. Also if you ever have to use it try to avoid hugging it against your chest as it attenuates the signal. As for where the signal goes it I'd picked up via satellites and relayed to a noaa command center which then dispatches the appropriate resources.
