I feel like the new Tozu design make him more badass, and evil. The old design makes him look really nice and really likeable. I guess in the future, if he gonna execute someone, he will execute them in the most cold blood way as possible, and his design with make the player will fear him more or maybe hate him more, which make him a good villian! Looking forward to knowing more about all the characters especially how the Ultimate Liar will turn out in the game. I'm very intrigued by her Ultimate Talent and whether she's going to be on the "good side", "bad side" or if she's going to be a morally gray character. I'd especially love her if she's a morally gray character as it's pretty rare for games to make characters out to be someone not pure good or pure evil but something of a mix or neither of the two. I'm not making this a question, just putting my thoughts out on how she could be.

The in depth explanation regarding Tozu's mask really spooked me a little. Sure, you won't be able to appreciate the uncanny valley feeling from a quick glance, but the longer you look at, the creepier it gets. Overall, great job on the design! Objective definitely achieved!

Great Update! It's obvious that everyone involved is very happy to be working on this and giving it their all. I loved hearing about the re-designing, I wouldnt have noticed how Tozu's mask can be viewed differently to also seem like a creepy smile. That was a great piece of info!! Also loved to learn more about with what in mind the music was composed. Hope all of the team is doing alright and is having fun on the project!

First of all, I love how this game feels a bit more like Distrust (you know, the BETA version of Danganronpa). Second, I love how we have really humans wearing animal masks running the killing game instead of Monokuma for once. And third, I’m not gonna lie, I’m simping for Mara. She looks like a mix between Peko and Maki (two characters who I really love). And finally, I have a feeling that Eva might be this game’s troublemaker, and she might be an even more well written liar character than Kokichi

STUPIDLY LONG IDEAS COMMENT (Spoilrs for the main games) Hmmm you can do what DR did and make a demo that just shows whats going on but the main game is different. As in... who dies and who lives is mixed up.. I guess... Dont reveal the story too much in these videos? Probably could show fake stuff about characters on purpouse to mess us up? The only thing the music reminds me of are those old fairy tale like cartoons tbh... Also.... Bevare the 3rd trial syndrome XD. Also 1 big thing DR barelly does is utilizing each of the character's talents. So.... try to implement them into their daily lives. -Random bits at random times like: Hey i made a cake cuz im ultimate baker. (Stuff that doesnt HAVE to make any impact on the story or trials but its there to let us know thry are all just random people with talents. It kinda feels like they only exist for the killing game itself if you dont give them that normal day to day lifestyle. But balance them all out and like... dont make some characters stick out too much by focusing too much on them. Example; in DR1 we focus on Maizono the pop star idol and... she dies. Idk its funny but it was waay too fast.. like... it was way too short of a time for me to even CARE about her. Leon got nothing at all so when he gets pelted by balls im like: Huh? Who is this guy? Why should i even care? I know hes the ultimate baseball player but like....i barelly know the guy. The more you know the more you care. Which is that much more crushing to see them die. Idea for the 1st kill could be a very gulible dumb person since...would you rather kill someone easy or be like Maizono who wanted to kill one of the athletes in the group. Kill Naegi? or Kirigiri? Or Taka Or Chihiro or Hifumi. Most of them arent gona put up a fight so they are 1st to go logically. For class trials look at the 1st trial of DR2. It has all the people in it yet the majority of people are involved in some way and even their talents are used: 1. Nagito's lucky draw of the straw and the stab too. 2. Ibuki's good hearing. 3.Teruteru's cooking 4.Gundham's persona etc. Also i dont know why but... a lot of the time the mc is either way too dumb or waay too smart. I have no idea why in the 1st game we dont just play as Kirigiri cuz she seems to figure out everything and Makoto is just dragged along everywhere cuz hes the protagonist and thats kinda it. My idea is: Maybe switch perspectives each chapter/chapters. Maybe have internal dialogues of how each character thinks. I dont really mind smart characters but....at times they just make a trial seem pointless. Like in DR1 just let Kirigiri solve it on her own since she literally does everything in the story pretty much. Solution: Have EVERYONE contribute to the main plot not just like... 5? Or as stated you can always switch perspectives between characters giving you more room to explore each character + youl be keeping everyone in suspense on whose gona die next since you keep switching perspective.
