All hints on the intro: Bullet turning the screen blue most likely references the Pathos counter, which turns the counter popup light blue. The small phrases behind Damon which say: "Discover the truth" "Defeat the Mastermind" and such, are most likely mentioning the fact that the academy's killing games have gone too far, perhaps? "History repeats" also would back up the fact that the killing game they are in has repeated multiple times, maybe this killing game has happened multiple times and it's time for the cycle to break. Damon, Eva and Desmond appear as shadows at the beginning of the trailer, and also are the first three characters to appear, maybe they are related to "the endless cycle?"

I noticed the letter that was handed to Damon was not written in English, I honestly do not recognize the language, does anybody know? (I noticed that the characters also have very different names- I guess that means the cast has different nationalities!) 3. I love the fact that the two antagonists (I'm just assuming) are humans! I always wondered what it would be like if the mascot or Headmaster had a human form as opposed to an animal. (To me, it makes their threat feel much more serious and direct.) 4. Finally, I love the huge focus on the color red. Canon Danganronpa focused a lot on black and white, which was cool but I always wondered why red was so under-utilized (Excluding the Pink Blood lol). It really gives the whole series a very intense vibe! Love it!

I’m thinking the Ultimate Liar is so similar to Kokichi, they’ll be a red herring. We’ve already had this concept as an antagonist for most of V3 after all. Im expecting the lawyer to be the antagonist (maybe like Two-Face from Batman where he has a good and bad side) instead. The Ultimate Liar seems like a first or second victim to me as a result, but the murder will likely be very interesting (especially if it’s the second, since they will have shown more of their personality than prior). They could also be a twist killer, but victim seems more likely. This is all just my opinion though, who knows.

to be fair, I believe it's because most of the cast is Japanese- and their weight standards are much more thinner than in the West and Europe. Not to mention diet culture is very popular and prevalent there too. all in all, there are barely any overweight people in Japan, especially amongst teenage youth. so it's not necessarily a "we don't like bigger characters", but rather just a realistic take on Japan's slim-to-none body diversity. I do understand the appreciation to see a more diverse set of bodies though, I think it adds to the interesting take of Ultimates from around the world.

@@amdete8254 I wouldn't necessarily say that. I think there's only 3 overweight characters in DR as a whole. That being: Hifumi, Imposter, and Teruteru. Hifumi, regardless of his weight, is not a bad person. He isn't really made fun of by the others, but rather, he's just a bit strange to them. However, this is because of his behavior rather than his weight. His weight makes sense for his talent, as he usually doesn't get much exercise at all. I wouldn't say he's a sterotype of fat people, but rather just a play on those who are usually engulfed in anime/dream-land.. hence his little "bits" where he acts like an anime character. Imposter, regardless of his weight, was a very caring person and did his best to look out for everyone, even to a certain someone in the anime. He also finds comfort in food, and eats fast food regularly- this would explain his weight. Even so, he was not portrayed as someone lazy that just eats, but a leader who wants to protect those around him. I would say this isn't very sterotypical, and actually gives his character more reasons to be liked. Teruteru, regardless of his weight, is not a terrible person. Massive perv, not an excuse, but I believe this is due to the fact that he's spoiled and an absolute "momma's boy". Probably just thinks he can get away with anything. Either way, I believe this ties in to his weight as well. He was probably over-fed by his mother or just ate a lot since he's always around food. Either way, his characteristics don't come from his weight, and that's fine. It shows the creators don't really base a character's personality off of their weight (look at his beta design). To be fair, I understand why you would see DR in a light that insults or sterotypes overweight characters. However, when you look past the character's base concept of looks and talent- there's a real character who has a personality that isn't defined by their weight. this applies to real people as well, and perhaps DR teaches us to do just that.

Dude, the music was absolutely magnificent. The buildup from start to finish was just jaw dropping. A bit biased but I am a big fan of violin and piano compositions because of how well they work together to make something as magnificent as a theater performance. Magnificent music complimented with nerve-wracking, mysterious expressions, and truth-defying scenes which makes Danganronpa, well, Danganronpa, is such a good fucking combination. I think Eva isn't the type to actually want to lie. Like,she knows how to it but she won't go crazy with lies as Kokichi does. She uses it when necessary

Maybe she's a pathological liar? There's no real reason for her to lie, but she just does it. Maybe at first the characters can actually tell when she's lying because she does it a lot, but it gets more ambiguous especially in trials. At some point maybe the protagonist has to make the decision whether or not to believe her.
