I was expecting some sort of ranking, not a list of the apps, it seems to just report the app description. You make some notes but in the end you say they are all great. So personally after the video I feel confused and I don't know which app to try

🤣🤣🤣🤣 "oh no gotta use my brain to discern all the very valuable info he gives on this very narrowed down list of the best options on the market" ... I mean really it's your fault "expecting" something the title didn't even suggest. Like where does it say "top 12 habit apps" or "I ranked these 12 apps from best to worst"? Jeez man. He literally shows you everything you need to know about the best apps out there. I easily picked out the one I liked the most out of these and I'm about to use it lol You want a complete random guy with an entirely different personality to you dictate what YOU use or don't use based on what THEY prefer? Bro just Use your brain and decide what YOU want lmfao Absolute state of this comment

The video is nothing like your comment. He doesn't give a ranking but it's very experiential - he goes very much in depth of each app coz he's used them. He not only tells you what's good. He doesn't gloss over what's bad - he lays it out straight and honest.
@v.v.v.33 Жыл бұрын
@@thecreativemasterminyeah my comment dosen't make sense anymore because he change the title of the video. Previously it was written that he had tested the apps to say which one was the best, and you can see from the video that it's not like that. So when I click on the video my expetation where definitely others and the title out of context

This was a good review of a a variety of habit apps. It’s a bit overwhelming, but unlike what one commenter said-that they expected a ranking-I think the only way to review these is to describe the differences because different apps so you can choose what you aspects that matter the most to you. Very well done!

it would have been much better to narrow the review down to his favorite 3-5. this doesn't really narrow things down much

The only problem I have with the habit trackers I’ve used is the limited amount of habits you can track at the same time

You scrolled past Habit Rabbit in your intro, which is by far my favorite one. Being aesthetic isn't enough for me, I need a gamified experience to get things done. It's pretty popular and def one worth checking out

Your video was great as always, and I get that you tried to give the perspective of in which case each app would be better suited than another, but it would have been even more useful, IMHO, if you were to say explicitly your top 3 apps and in which order you’d recommend them, or at least tell us which one you’re going to stick with so that we have a place to start from and a solid recommendation we can start from

Great video, for the next ones I would suggest listing the different platforms on which we can use the apps (smartphones, macOS/windows and smartwatches). I missed that.

Did you find any habit trackers that have alarms? Simple notifications do not get my attention. I'm looking for something that has an actual alarm reminder.

Has he not done a video on his own habits he tracks? Obviously saw examples like language learning in the screenshots of the apps. I’ve looked through the old videos and can see one which is surprising.

I found this video very frustrating, I'm left with 7 apps to install and test myself because there was no clear explanation which apps support sophisticated uses cases: (0) Need to be able to track partial completion, if I do 20 of 30 mins today and make it up by doing 40 of 30 mins tomorrow, that means I'm on track, not everyone can control work schedules. (1) irregular intervals easy to configure (20 mins on Sat or Sun each week) (2) data export functionality (for self analysis or long-term data collection beyond the lifetime of the app) (3) solid analytics, by week month and year (4) variable metrics, not just doing X for X time, but perhaps "studying one unit" with an ability to indicate the project is for a book containing 13 units total. Flexibility. Rich unit types and habit types.
