Projectile motion example (time to max height, max height, and corresponding horizontal travel)

An introductory projectile example. The time to max height is calculated, followed by the max height and the corresponding horizontal travel. An alternate way to calculate the max height (bypassing the “time to max height” calculation is also presented. The setup (choosing coordinate system, breaking the acceleration and initial velocity vectors into components, etc.) is carefully explained. Air resistance, and the reasons for and consequences of ignoring it, is discussed near the beginning of the video.
