If 3 loss SEC teams are ahead of an SMU team that has 1 loss by 3 points to a ranked team that happened in the first weekend in September, then it’s clear that the playoff committee has no idea what it’s doing

2 of Alabama's 3 losses are to bad teams, and all 3 of Ole Miss's losses were to bad teams. They need to drop where the bracket doesn't shine.

We agree and I probably UGA isn’t as good as you might. The issue is the SEC hypes its losses as better than other teams wins-look how they tak about Indiana and Penn St. “they have beaten anybody”. Absurd. They stuff the rankings full of SEC teams and if for example a bad Vandy defeat Bama stick them in the rankings, which they have quickly left.

It’s very obvious the committee doesn’t care about who you lost to. An ACC or Big 12 team with 3 losses and 2 of those losses to teams that have more than 4 losses they would be ranked in the 20s. Remember Alabama lost to a 5 loss Oklahoma by 3 scores.

Im tired of rewarding close wins. They’re not “gutsy wins”, they’re struggles. Im a Penn St defender because of their blowout wins, and this week should push them down a few places. Texas should stay ahead for sure. ND should jump both

Ohio State, Boise St. and pick ‘em, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, The only reason you think Georgia has better wins is because of your SEC bias this year the SEC is not great this year, hardly has elite teams, great teams losing as elite and then the middle is very basic bearable teams, some have great rosters but play poorly as a team in on field competition. Movement UMasd, Mercer, Wofford games don’t help the SEC case-kind of shows self awareness.

I don't understand how Texas hasn't beating anyone. They have at the time of playing 3 ranked wins. Of course a losing team will drop in or out of rankings. So Texas or anyone gets punished for beating a team that causes them not to be ranked anymore. Vanderbilt and oaklhoma beat bama, which Texas beat both those teams.
