My brother passed away April 14, 2014 and it was very sad to hear some of his regrets toward the end. The first one being that he had not quit smoking that caused his death. I've been in a debilitating depression since he passed. I'm getting better now...and he did tell me to "Be happy!" I have the gift of life so I feel as I've always felt that it is my mission to complete my work and get it out into the world. To pass it on. Thank you for your very inspiring video. I put a post it on my computer that says, "Enough!" And I'm going to do that list you suggested of 100 reasons why I want to achieve my goals. Thanks again! Jacqueline

Hey man, thank you xD My story: I've lost a 30.000 pounds placement year job. two weeks ago. I was in depression, and literally wasting my time, I'm 20 btw, I have enough time to waste, at least that's what I thought. before watching your videos. My mindset is exactly what you say, or at least was until the shit happened. Then problems with my gf, then more and more...and I was doing nothing because I could not, did not, just took the 'do not' and applied it everywhere. Two weeks ago I saw your video, I literally cried, just cried thinking of what an awesome kid I used to be, how I lived without regret, how it was cool to be me. Next day, I woke up, and started improving my coding skills, so soon I'll launch my web-development business. Thank you for being an awesome person and keep up the good work. Regards, Stefan

Stefan, I am a 62 year old procrastinator. Throughout my life I have habitually started things and then lost my motivation and stopped, leaving things incomplete and left with the pain and disappointment in myself. I don't want to be like that anymore! Thank you for one of the best direct, tell-it-like-it-is videos for people like me. I am more determined than ever to un-procrastinate (no such word, I know) myself. Thank you!!

This is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I think the toughest part of changing ones life is dealing with the initial failures. Like when you wake up late, or miss something on your daily ritual. I think the key is accepting that failure is a part of success, and learning to rebound when you fall short. Anyhow thanks for the video brother; it means a lot to the rest of us.

Information overload!! You nailed it for me. I am setting up my notepad on my desk right now. I am writing down all the things I want to do/accomplish and then ordering them so I one leads to another. For instance going to bed earlier is near the top. Taking an early morning jog would be after that and it will progress from there. I literally got to get out all the things in my mind and put them on paper so I can focus on one thing at a time at come back to the rest instead of trying to eat right, sleep right, learn coding, build a website, travel, and so on all at the same time. I am always adding to my list of stuff I want to do when I watch videos and tv and I never am able to do any of them.

Spot on and very inspiring. Everyone has gremlins in their minds acting against their aspirations. Often they come in the guise of EXCUSES and PROCRASTINATION. Unless you wack them gremlins for a six (cricket term) your confidence will take a turn onto a slippery downhill road. Whatever our obstacles they have their solutions and it's up to the individual to face them and beat them. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." (I think that's Chinese proverb). Nice one Stephan. You're a 100 year old in a fine young man's body. It's great of you to share your wisdom and aspirations. Many thanks.

Came here to get some reassurance and reinforcement about my journey: to hear someone else speak of success, and of taking small action steps, and doing a little consistently each day. Great Vid Stefan. Happy Birthday! See you on the hangout later. Had a "challenging" day yesterday, and almost let the overwhelm paralyze me. Just started ASM5 and I'm on your bonus team. I hit a couple of snags with my badges (uploading issues) and I couldn't open the spreadsheet tool, and everyone else is posting on the community forum how easy it was for them and etc. etc.and blah blah blah . I was SUPER frustrated last night. Finally spent hours figuring out how to make my own spreadsheet on google docs. (ive never made a spreadsheet, a lot of people who wait tables haven't) But it was after midnight on a Saturday night and I realized I had just spent hours creating what a high scool student could do in an hour. Shut it down. Got a good night sleep . Decided that my perception "the sky is falling" was complete bs. Started fresh today, made a list of small action steps to get it all sorted out, and just started pecking away at it. I think most peoples problems stem from focusing ONLY on dreaming big. Sure, dream big,but also take little steps daily to get there. Its right out of the tao te ching ( my fav book in the world)and can be explained to a 5 yr old in a sentence. I also like your "Discipline weighs ounces. Regret weighs tons."

This was incredibly inspiring, Stefan! I especially liked the beginning, where you talked about "taking two steps forward, then two steps back", since it's been a lot like that with losing weight for me a couple of years ago, until I started personal development. It changed everything, and you are now one of the few people who inspire me the most. :)

I think it is important to get a coach; somebody who asks the right questions and keeps you accountable.This can be a professional or somebody who is willing to help you and has the life you want. To many people (my included for a long time) think they can do it all them self and keep creating excuses for themselves. Stop it now. Take responsibility. Tip. Take some candles and lay down on grass at night. Put the candles around you and think this is your death and ask yourself: What did I do with my life; trust me. This will reset you for a big part and let you take action.

Hey Stefan, I think it's clear that taking action and making decisions is the most important point if you want to reach your goals. But you also have to differ between inactive work (the theoretical part) and active work (the practical part). You've never learned out in life so the inactive work (the learning part) is very important. But what's the best balance between learning and doing what you've learned? Exactly: My business is running well (thanks to your course). I know what I have to do and I already have great success. But I also enjoy to learn more about business, success etc. every day. But I've the feeling that I'm spending too much time in learning than doing. It's no wasted time but it's also not productive. What's the best balance? I know that there is no exactly answer for this because everyone has another knowledge. Some people already know more than others in business, health, personal development etc.. But if you already have the knowledge and know what you have to to ....what's the best balance? How does your your balance of active/inactive work looks in the different areas in your life (business, health etc.)? I know that you are reading a lot, you are also going to seminars, speaking and learning from others etc. but you are not learning the whole day. Do you have a fix balance between learning and to be productive for your day/week? Or are you doing it like you want? Maybe you can make a video about this topic... Best wishes!
@ProjectLifeMastery10 жыл бұрын
10-20% learning, 80-90% taking action. I am probably less than that to be honest... all you need is within you. You've read and learned enough. Now focus on taking action and applying.
@ProjectLifeMastery10 жыл бұрын
Project Life Mastery I also sometimes AVOID learning. There's many books or seminars or videos I choose NOT to watch or go to, because it will often distract me from what I'm focused on and taking action on.
