I just wanted to let you know that I adore your videos. I'm not sure if you're familiar with ASMR, but I really enjoy how you leave the natural sounds of you working and the background noise/enviorment. It's so soothing and comforting and I sometimes put up your videos while I also work. Beautiful pieces btw - would love to see them in real life someday!

Oh thank you so much! Yes I enjoy ASMR :) Earlier videos have music because I sort felt as though they 'had' to have something, but now I leave them as is, since it's just what I personally like. I'm happy to hear others prefer that as well. ❤️ Happy working!

What are you using to attach the book to the mat? Will it damage the book? How do you keep the open book part from flapping around?

I often use a book stand for these, so it was my first time framing this way for an exhibition - it's not an ideal solution. I used removable adhesive with velcro strips to keep the book in place, this way the collector can remove and re-frame if they wish. The left side of the book had a tiny piece of plastic to keep it level/stop it from flapping.
