Suggestion: while I have followed the videos and content since the beggining there is one nagging thing that keeps sticking out. I request the channel to correctly pronounce Rama as not Raamaa but Raam. Adding aa sound at the end is more anglicized version and should be avoided so as to correctly pronounce deities' names.
@RealHello3 ай бұрын
@@AbhasVyas-go2yf That ain't the case. Bruh! You have got it messed up in multiple levels. First of all, Rama isn't an anglicised version, but rather its the way how the people who speak Sanskrit and dravida langiuages pronounce. Clearly the unawareness, ain't that true! The sanskrit verses refers to the name as Rama. You call it Rama shabdham/ shabdha, not Ram shabdh. Likewise, it isn't Shiv, but Shiva. Sanskrit words weren't just words, but they got something more to it. The Sound Shi-va when peonounced in the way as it must be pronounced, it is a mantra by itself. The vibration it produces is what they have based the word upon. Some words upon pronouncing in certain way, it produces reverbration through the body that acts in a different way. It got science behind it. Sadhguru demonstrates on how to pronounce the word Shiva as to get the benefits. Sanskrit was not just dealing with spirituality, but it was intertwined with science. Modern languages like Hindi cuts the last sounds of a the sanskrit word, may be just for the convenience of pronounciation. The way hindi formed can be represented with an analogy of how rocks erode due to time and become round. Likewise, sanskrit words eroded as the time went on and now only a part of the original word remains. Most of the words lost the essence in it because of this. May be they became easier to pronounce, but the very purpose for those words to have such a sound has been defeated. Now, people even started to believe that these cut-shorts words are the correct ones. Its hillarious how mislead people are getting nowadays.

After encounter with Rama, Parasurama returned crest-fallen and on his way met an Avadhuta named Samvarta, the brother of Brihaspati who advised him to seek Dattatreya. Later he encountered Lord Dattatreya who instructed him in the ultimate truth of the Self and reality, with added injunction that it should be communicated to Haritayana who would later seek the truth from him and so led him to salvation. This secret dialogue between Dattatreya and Parashuram is an ancient literary text called "Tripura Rahasya". Just wanted to point this out as this encounter with Lord Dattatreya was also a significant event in the life of Parashuram. 🙂

In my native we worship parashuram and his mother Shri renuka devi .. location which is situated in Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra tri junction borders. In my area there are so many folklore songs on birth of parashuram and his highest respect to his mother Renuka devi and father jamadagni. Initially jamadagni was so ferocious and very strict, literally like Brughu maharshi. But one day renuka devi's sand pot fell down and delays the yagnya. In anger Jamadagni ordered his elder three sons to cut the head of renuka devi. But they refused, so he burns his sons to ashes. Then he calls parashuram and orders to cut his mother head. But parasuram does the same. Jamadagni impressed with him. So he gives three boons to ask.. parashuram accepts and asks first one. His mother Renuka devi should get life back with her head. Second his elder brothers should also get their life back, third he asks his father should not get anger for life long. Jamadagni does same. During karthyavirya arjuna visit to his ashram. King requests jamadagni to give food to one lakhs soldiers of his army. Jamadagni does same. King gets desire to have kamadhenu so that he can have one crore army of soldiers. So, he tries to capture, but kamadhenu itself produces more army to and defeats his army. Battle was so bloody, all ashram we full of red soil. Ashram become unholy to perform yagna.. Decides to move his ashram. That time parashuram comes and get know that about incidents

Sir you should also make a video on the difference between religion and Dharma,it's extremely sad that 99%of Hindus still belive and religion and Dharma are the same things only,a religion means a set of belives made by it's founder which it's followers should follow blindly without using and logic or reasonings basically a cult!,like Islam,Christianity,Judaism,Buddheism specially on the rise of Neo Buddheism etc are called religions,meanwhile Hinduism(although the correct word for that is Sanatan Dharma)on the other hand means Dharma(Moral principles)where having doubts and asking questions is fully allowed and it's the one and only Dharma in the entire planet!🙏🕉️

Great Video. Few points that may be added --> There is a sookta in Vedas in the name of Parashuraama. The turn of river Brahmaputra into Bharatha is listed as the work of Parashuraama. This apart from my native place, the coastal Karnataka is made by Parashuraama. So he has done a major thing in every corner of Bharatha, whether it is Kamarupa [Assam] or Kerala, Mahishamati or the krouncha dwara of Himalaya. A Great Brahmana with [as you said] Shastra and Shaastra.

Thank you sir for your insightful videos that encapsulate the vast ocean of our culture and Sanatana Dharma in a concise manner for easier understanding. Appreciate the way you build your narrative based on factual information derived form the core of the scriptures. KSHATRA and SHASTRA is a fascinating duality that in one or other form lies at the core ethos of Sanatana Dharma that keeps resonating in your renditions. Passage of time and the effects of cultural, political and ideological shifts have had their toll on coloring the narratives from extremely grandiose to jingoistic but the way you peel through these layers and present content based on verifiable and standard scriptural references is commendable. One factor that needs to be pondered upon is the enormous significance of Samskrutam which has helped preserve the scriptures in their original form and are the source and reference for deriving authentic information. Agreed that our scriptures give the latitude for interpretation that is prone to be subjective but there is clear line in being subjective and being whimsical and that dear sir is where you seem to tread so admirably, logical, objective and reverential to the original sources. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more.
