Veda mantras spread over a period of many years. Initially mantras refer adityas are three, after some years they made seven by adding another four names. And 🎉about end of Veda mantras the number reached eight. However, the pauranic number twelve stand today. Regarding 33 crore god's was ancient , later some pundits reduced them to 33.

The line says it all, "Not all great inventions happened in Bharat, butall great inventions of Bharat are not known to the world".... I deeply respect how you connected 12 Adityas to evolution and history of Vedic Education System of Bharat. Simply amazing. And as always thanks for uploading the doc film, Your Die Hard Fan.. UD....

I have to admit I've went through most of my life without thinking about why there are 12 constellations, or why there are 24 hours in a day till I got interested in Sacred Geometry, even as a musician I did not understand why there are 12 cords, it was quite a realization when I opened my eyes to it. Thank you for the video it gives a look into Hinduism I try to understand, interesting how yoga ties into it.

This is filled with misinformation. Hinduism did not invent the 12th months. They are Babylonian. They came to India with the Greeks. Please do not get suckered by these Indian Nationalists. They are the eastern version of Afrocentrics. Most of these concepts regarding time and calendars comes to us from the Babylonians.

What a wonderful narration.... I joined Project Shivoham when there was only 7 videos in thier channel.... But the content, clarity, depth, and the amount of research is unparallel ... Most importantly the purity and unbiaseness , it is the most important essence of this initiative.... Project Shivoham always try to make people contemplate and encourage the inquisitiveness of people .... I will pray that they continue to remain such pure I can't thank you enough Project Shivoham team for your efforts to unfold the truth of our motherland.... For last few centuries due to colonization of different era , due to clashes between different political ideologies, due to our machine making education system.... We have become ingnorant,.morraly and intellectually chanllenged to even understand the true treasure of our own motherland ... Your efforts are an eye opener for us.... I try to share your contents as much as possible because it should be spreaded....each and every Bharatvasi should feel proud of their motherland and this should come from their core naturally, spontaneously and not for due any external slogan or politics..it is only possible If they respect their country...and respect comes through knowledge... All the very best... May this new year bring new lights on our intellect and understanding of Bharat...

The present education system in India is like it's making humans as machines , materialistic , hypocritic , attracted towards western culture and so much. Sometimes, it's very terrible to think about the present generation people because they bother about earning n employment. No one is thinking about the society where people lack moral values. Everywhere so much of greed , jealousy, hatred etc prevailing . Hindus , don't have knowledge about their valuable culture and spiritual knowledge. Very sad to say that most of the youth don't know what is Bhagavad Gita. Movies n social media are also polluting the youth.

A nice presentation of Adityas. However, linking Adityas to constellations is erroneous. The 12 Adityas do correspond to the 12 rashis, but in this case the rashis are not constellational (sidereal / nirayana), but tropical or sayana, because the Solar year starts with the vernal equinox which marks the entrance of the Sun into tropical Aries (sayana Mesha). You are correct when you say that Makara sakranti is the Sun's ingress into Capricorn which happens on winter solstice, but this again is only true with sayana rashis, not constellations (which drift due to the precession of Earth's axis). If we follow nirayana reckoning of the rashis, then the Makara sakranti falls around January 15th, which is definitely not the date of the winter solstice. The progress of the Sun towards the north can be measured by observing a shadow of a stick which gets progressively shorter as the sun progresses north during Uttarayana. A noticable change in movement occurs approximately 3 days after the Sun reaches its southernmost point (enters Makara). The erroneous equating of rashis and stellar constellations has to end, because this is creating chaos in the calendar which the Indian Calendar Reform Commitee already attempted to fix in the 50's. A return to the Sun / Adityas and to the equinoxes and solstices is long overdue. And I'm saying this also for the Gregorian calendar. Our Solar year should begin either on winter solstice or spring equinox and not any other point in time.

This is precisely the reason why ive been using the sayana zodiac and dhruva at the middle of mula as my ayamansh to cast charts and its opened doors for my understanding of aspects of charts that simply were not making sense if the reference of zodiac used was sidereal. Its brilliant, your comment though. @Project Shivoham should pin it.
@rok_koritnik Жыл бұрын
@@tehseenchoonawala5713 Based on what you wrote I assume you've learned this from Ernst Wilhelm as he advocates the Dhruva middle of Mula ayanamsha along with sayana rashis. I use sayana rashis in my practice, too. Imho integration of the 12 Adityas into zodiacal astrology would be beneficial.

Because it is largely misinformation. Go read the scholarly understanding of these things, not this Indian Nationalist claptrap. The constellations are Babylonian. They came to India with the Greeks, along with horoscopic astrology. The English word "hora" comes from the Greek, not from Sanskrit. Newton invented Calculus. Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī solved the quadratic formula using Algebra. These are just a few examples of how this video is absurd.
@Jaydeep-ve4jy Жыл бұрын
@@nerthus4685 The lie is what you have been taught for years. You go and read the vedic literature and history. Ancient mathematics, astrology and many more were invented and researched in Bharat and other came here for trade and took that knowledge to places. Others like Al kwazami and Newton used that knowledge but never gave credit to the real creators, Rishis Baudhayana and Rishin Kanad. Also there is so much of information in Surya siddhanta which was written even before Babylonians or Greeks existed which explains astrological calculations and concepts. So please stop blaming someone before even realizing the truth.

It is not authentic. This video is filled with misinformation. You Indian Nationalists are worse than Afrocentrics. Not everything originated in India. Just a small example, the constellations come from Babylon, not India. India got them from the Greeks, along with horoscopic astrology. Such good and well articulated series, but only one glitch or rather sour point is demeaning non believers as jokers and other such words. We have a culture of samvaad and shastrath, we don’t put people down to put forth our point. We bring them along with us with the strength in our philosophy. You are doing wonders showcasing our philosophy but would do much much more justice if you be inclusive towards non believers. 🙏🏼 Best wishes in propagating our Dharma and Shastras 🙏🏼

@projectshivoham Thank you for the excellent explanation of the 12 Adityas. Makara Sankranti is when Sun starts Uttarayana. Its the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere. It is not the earth moving closer to Sun as you described. Because of the precession of earths axis the Sankranti now happens in December and not in January as followed by the religious traditions.
