Im about to do mine patio is higher than surrounding area as im gonna fill edges with decorative stone, how can i stop this "leaking" out the edges? Can i just slap a bit of duct tape over the edges to stop it flowing out while it sets a bit or something?
@peterhigson5863Ай бұрын
@@josephshield683 I would say that would work with duct / gaffe tape… this stuff sets hard so should stay in place when you remove the tape..

I recently used Titan resin and was so easy to use, it has left some residue on the surface and water won’t clean it off. What can I use to get the residue off?
@peterhigson5863Ай бұрын
@@davestribley Yeah I had the same problem on my first area… it’s a bitch to get off and that’s why I made a point of telling people to make sure all residue has gone…. I got some of mine off with a wire brush but I think it will just take time to wear off gradually…
@Faceless-Man-7 күн бұрын
I have just used this and it’s great but also had the same issue with the residue in places where I didn’t sweep as much with a damp brush. My advice is to brush, brush and keep brushing with a wet brush until it’s all clean

Looks to of stained the slabs, I find that happens with all of them?
@peterhigson58632 ай бұрын
@@JoeHoare-z5r Didn’t stain the slabs at all…. Just made sure that ALL excess product was removed…. TBH I found it harder to stop the Sika stuff from staining the slabs than the ProJoint… look a bit closer and there is no staining with the ProJoint… 👍👍

But the TITAN is new, so you dont know how long it will last?
@peterhigson5863Ай бұрын
@@julianguffogg It’s been in a good few weeks or more now and still looks good. I had to pressure wash one of the areas and had no problems at all. The previous stuff always made me nervous about pressure washing and often blew out. No issues with this Titan stuff. And I kept the empty tubs because they are useful…. I used one the other day that had some residue Titan still in the bottom…. It was rock hard…. Gotta say I’m still impressed with Titan… 👍

For those who are so unskilled they can not use traditional mortar that lasts for 50+ years
@peterhigson58633 ай бұрын
I can't disagree, traditional skills are few and far between nowadays, and a lot of people are also looking for easier alternatives {that's the world that we live in...} and this is a decent alternative...
