Имея столько свободного места внутри корпуса крепить батарею поверх него довольно не логично. Единственное оправдание это удобство быстрой замены. Но минусов существенно больше. В принципе есть возможность немного доработать конструкцию с сохранением положительных моментов и исключением отрицательных.

Unfortunately, sourcing PCB's from China causes a huge shipping charge which makes it infeasible to order small numbers. I use the Lioncircuits service in India, yeah they are a bit costly but overall cost is less because of shipping

Nice! I have a question! A normal car with one motor uses the differential to sync the wheels on turns, so the inner wheel rotates less than the outer wheel (in a turn) but I think you are using one PWM signal for both motor ECUs. do you have any stability problems on turns, especially at the higher speed? Also to sync both. motors I think you must have 2 separate PWM channels that are in sync using the PID controller. Thank you

@@proknowI am also curious what your solution will be for this, in version 2. I am in the middle of a similar rover project. It is using brushed motors, so I am using a dual H-bridge module, for the rear modules. Because of the limited number of steps in speed, and the low accuracy of my steering setup, I am just approximating the relationship between the steering & the rear wheel speeds, but I'd greatly appreciate an example of a plug-in formula, to more precisely calculate the differential values. I will watch this project for updates. I REALLY like ESP-now, for projects like this. It is such a versatile protocol. It makes it easy to control other accessories, like lights, signals, sounds, cameras, etc. All this, without needing a wi-fi connection, or Bluetooth pairing. You just need to keep the data transfers small, which is pretty easy for an R/C car. Another interesting thing, is the ability to easily add peers. For a larger 4WD project, for instance, you can have one ESP32 controlling the front wheel speeds, and another for the rear wheels, and your transmitter can broadcast to both units simultaneously.

@@proknow Given some thought to this. Easy would be to map single throttle to dual channels and then add in some reduction mix from steering channel to "inside" rear wheel. Hard would be to read back the actual wheel RPMs and run that through code and calculate the RPM reduction required for each wheel based on requested steering angle and speed. I love the direct drive but you'll prolly want some sort of transmission (even a 1:1 will be okay) to transfer the axial load off the motors' bearings. If you need more downforce, think hovercraft-in-reverse mixed in with wheel speed or throttle position.

Connecting wheels directly to the brushless motors is not a smart idea it will grill the motor-coils ; these kinds of motors are not supposed to resist a big charge .

You can use NodeMCU for the receiver but you can't use it for the transmitter because NodeMCU only has one Analog Input, and we require at least two. Let me know if you doubt.

Practice makes man a perfect! I am doing these kind of work from a long time and I spend days and hours on pre planning, sketching, designing, which decreases the no of errors in final product. But still... esa nhi hai ki saare project ek bar me ya perfect bante hai, esa kaafi sare project bne hai mughse jinohne meri explacations to meet nhi kiya. Abhi last GPS Speedometer wali video pichle 2 months se pending thi, kuki usme kuch problem aa rhi thi, ab vese to problem jaldi bhi solve ho sakti hai par ek video ke liye channel ki consistency nhi tutni chaiye. It's very pro, but I like my Banggood type a lot. I'm building some test cars from LEGO Technics to take over all electronics / code (ESPNow) in my ideas instead of buying too much - which can save me €/$1000's on something I want in a near future. So much to study and check out. At least I coded some my entire life. Electronics is also "easy" (with some exceptions, of course) for me now.

Thats really cool though i recomend gearing the motors down because those have pretty high rpms but not much torque they are usually used on rc planes rn on an ideal world with no friction drag etc the car could go 100 + kph

I use Nikon D5300, but it is too old for 2024, you can go for Nikon Z30 or Sony ZV-E10 and If you have high budget then you can go for Sony alpha series.
