I like this combination. This EBK 360 doesn't sound too stressed unlike my EBK 340. Height adjustment really is way to go on medium pile carpets. Prolux hose is also quite long helping usability.

It doesn't look like a bad machine overall. That said, the Rainbow E2 Black hose is also 8 ft, same length for the SRX and there's the option of longer hoses for the SRX and E2, 14 for the SRX and 14 and 30 ft for the E2. Although this machine is 1/3 the price of a new Rainbow and should last minimum 15 years.

The performance doesn't seem bad, the pickup seems on par with Thomas's Rainbow D4c with the updated brush roll.

@@VacLab I wouldn't be surprised, it's essentially a D4 with an aftermarket hose and nozzle. The on-board tools look a bit cheap though. The Sirena has Rainbow tools in essence which I find both odd and nice. Rainbow tools have always felt of high quality so no complaints.

This machine looks incredibly sharp and if Rexair continued with the D line of machines I would think this is what it would look like. Strangely, I wish Rexair made more than one model at a time but both it and Kirby are only one at a time. I would love it if I ever got the opportunity to use or own this, the Sirena and the Rainbow SRX and compare it to my D4 and E2 black that would be awesome too.

HOW does this machine compare to Sirena? I have an ancient Rainbow the power head stopped can not find a replacement since it's over 30 years old..looking at getting another water based vacuum.

On high speed sounds like a quantum vac system but hey, you can use the Wessel werk EBK 360 to make a central vac system, like a homemade central vac system

This machine, the original (and possibly the upright Quantum Vacs), Sirena and many others all use the same Italian designed motor. The tone they emit is also similar to the sound of an E2 2 speed brushless motor-equipped Rainbow as well. I wish when Rexair designed the SRX it used a twin-stage motor similar in design to the E2 but there's probably a reason it went that route, most likely cost cutting and possibly international regulation over power consumption.

He pulled most of the hair and fluff out of the water pan which would cause the majority of the clogging in plumbing. Even with it flushed, it wouldn't do anything major.
