Based on the trailer, this has references to some of the best teen movies of the 80's teen movies. Pretty in Pink, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Risky Business, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. I highly recommend these to the younger crowd out there. I am sure it will only make this movie that much better!

So the lead from the dougie howser reboot is the type A girl who wants to get into harvard and wants to use a popular boy's family member to get in. Even though the romance part is pretty standard as long as her best friend doesn't confess to being in love with her and she manages to learn a bigger lesson about her conduct then this could be good. Also Margaret Cho is awesome and I kinda wish bobby lee was playing the main character's dad.

Milo Manheim great acting. Unfortunately, I didn't like the movie. The store clerk referencing kissing goes out by high school? What???? The child pic of risky business. She should have been too young to even know what that was. Yes, I was the 80's kid. Now the Mom. They had good intentions, the execution not so much. Laughed at the promposals, but started to get a headache. If you have a preteen, you may want to skip this. Why Disney why? Families want something safer for there kids to watch. THey get enough "real life" junk out thee thrown at them in social media.
