Hi. the 400 steps suggested by the program means that you have a very large mechanical reduction of this axis. For CNC plasma cutters, it is no good due to the need for high speed and dynamics of work. this is your main problem. The Y Axis is running on a lead screw.. there is plans to change it over to rack and pinion soon.

@Old Barker Ranch Yeah I saw that on another video :) Works very well considering it's screws
