Nice job and you make it so simplistic with no hydraulic jack and a simple crescent wrench. I have a Winnebago Travato with the Ram promaster chassis and love how easy it is to change the oil.

If you run a tube down the dipstick spot, you can pump the oil out, then that way you never have to go underneath the vehicle again.

I don't need any extra tools and since I already have the drain cock I'll continue to use it. I've gotten pretty good at doing this. Gives me a chance to inspect for gasket leaks and suspension/cv joints.

Question: at 16:10 you click the filter in place then screw on the top. Other videos show the filter being clicked into the cap and then filter and cap together tightened in. Any difference between the two methods?

Good job: Please comment on use of oil extractor, as on ProMastersOnly. Drain plug leaves about 3/8 inch of used oil in bottom where extractor sucks out all oil. Planning to order Swan Lake, Topsider or 12 volt.

I've never used one on any vehicle I've owned but I'm sure they work great. We don't have a lot of space to warrant the need for one. That's a great video idea for someone. Check Project Farm YT channel to see if he's tested one.

I have a video on my channel using an oil extractor. I use an electric pump. Once you do it that way you never go back. No need to even bend down under the van!
