Havent watched this yet but im SO excited you are analyzing these heads, the advertised flow numbers seem too good to be true, but im hoping theyre good heads for the money. Ill be doing a SBF though, would be nice to see what the Project X 210cc actually flow. I do wish they offered those in a bit bigger chamber size....on a 408 stroker those 56cc chambers are a tad small if youre a guy like me just tryna make something to go offroad with on pump gas

Good stuff, I believe had they both been flown on a 4.155' bore plate, the disparity between the two would become much more evident. The AFR exhaust side is around 72%, while the Promax exhaust side is around 63%. Putting them both on a 4.125" bore engine, I think the AFR would run away, especially above 5800rpm. Due to the AFR's efficiency and it's valve control. But, double the price is double the price.

Wow I was really surprised with the Promax heads for 1400 dollars afr enforcer 195 as cast are over 1100 hundred and don't flow near that good and you compared those heads to the competition ported heads and for half the price it's a no brainer. Thanks for this information. So all I will have to do is get some solid roller springs and be in good shape I'd love to see what those heads would do with you just doing a little port work on them with a 60 grit cartridge roll. I bet you could really make them flow better. Your friend from Louisiana Rick 427.

I can pick them up but not with the cartridge roll because they are smooth and very little flaws. The valve job may pick them up.

@@WeingartnerRacing so far that is about the best deal and what is good you checked them out and flowed them if you think they are a good head then they are good and for half the price of the competition port afr 295 I'll save 1400 bucks that would just about cover a camshaft and intake on a build.thanks for the feed back

@@WeingartnerRacing ok good to know. It just looked like if you slid that guide over anymore the adjacent one would've been in the water jacket instead of the pushrod hole. I think I heard stories of when the Promax first came out there was problems. I even had a AFR 220 head that was very close on one pushrod hole. I had to adjust it just right and when I torqued the stud it would throw it off just enough it would start rubbing.
