Really this picture is one of the best ever made. But there are another like the Godfather directly by Franco Ford Coppola in the Decade of 8 0. In this motion picture you have one of the best soundtrack of the cinema. Besides the excellent performance of Marlon Brando as Don Vitor Corneone boss of the Italian mafia.

Just a testament to how good this song is, I’m 37 and haven’t watched Last of Mohicans since it released when I was 10. I randomly heard this song while out and about and stood there for a second trying to place it - “I think… this is from that awesome scene in last of the Mohicans”. Googled this song and it’s the same one. It must’ve really had an impact on me to remember it after all these years.

Amazing Taylor Davis is so gifted. I love the way she picked that scenery herself. The view just gave the music that much more of a harmonious comforting hug. Honestly watching her wailing on the violin is so intense, gentle, powerful, mystical and synchronized all at the same time. I love the background and the view, I found the entire video exquisitely perfected. Bravo 👏 Definitely a fan.

Here's the part as a grown man with children that I cry......The Gael has me blown away. It's a song I'm grateful that no one attempted to put words to. It hits bones when it's played. From the way you play it hit your heart as well. Great job sweety. You found a new fan. A 12 string guitar picking just a little under your volume would be killer........awesome job again. May God continue to bless your ability to play with such heart.

I always remember how badass the end of the movie was when I hear this. Man Wes Studi was born to play Magua. He didn't even need to talk or emote and he STILL succeeded at making you despise him. The only time you really see him react to anything was when the father took revenge on him for what he did. THAT was the best part of that movie, imo. It was like watching Levi drop the Beast Titan LOL

She's definitely got Talent,Beauty, and Good Taste in her choice of what to play . The Cinematography Matches The Music. As The Gael is well deserved of being orchestrated within a Natural Scenic Background such as This. Furthermore , her style and execution of the song is Perfect. Spoiled? I doubt it. One should not judge her that Way because a musician of her Caliber couldn't possibly be that Talented without putting in Great effort, Passion, Time, Dedication, and The Work it takes. She's Awesome playing This Song as well as many other Songs that I've seen her perform.

My father was upset about my music choice. It’s a generational thing. If you don’t like a certain kind of music then don’t listen to it. Simple. 🤷🏽‍♂️

All you have to do is look at the decline of people in the West going to listen to Orchestra music to see a wider trend. I love older music, 50/60s because it has heart

This song deserves (almost requires) that it be played outdoors, in such a spectacular setting! Absolutely loved it! Nicely done, Taylor Davis. Back in 1990 on New Year's Day, I was hiking in the Olympic Mountains of Washington State. It was a cold, and foggy day, but extremely awesome with the fog pouring over the snow capped mountains, and filling in the valleys below. Far in the distance, someone was playing bagpipes, and it took my breath away. So peaceful and serene. If I closed my eyes and then reopened, I would have thought I was in Scotland. This performance transported me back to that day, and I THANK YOU, Taylor.

The proper name for the music is 'The Gael' composed by Dougie McLean. Its SCOTTISH written to commeorate the higland Clearences, when tens of thousans of people were burned out of their homes by the English. MacLean's most famous pieces include "The Gael" (1990), which became the main theme to the 1992 film The Last of the Mohicans, and "Caledonia",

@@pickashole Indeed so. Most if not all were highland Chiefs who saw more money in sheep than people, but over 80% of the debts laden on the Chiefs came from the English tax system, introduced into the Highlands 20 years before in stealth. People did not know nor cared till faced with prison or 'transportation'. Highland Chiefs tried to be fair to their people but not all. The soldiers used to do the clearence were to a large extend English Mercenaries. The music The Gael’ tries to encapsulate the grief of leaving a land, family, friends, a way of life to go to a place they never heard of with NOTHING, never to return. The Irish suffered the same.
