Dear Viewers, The retail version of Halo Reach has duel wielding Elites; however, in this video I reference the duel wielding Elites found in places such as, Visegrád Station, and at the beginning of the level, Tip of The Spear, where they are not present in the retail version. In this mod Prometheus for Halo Reach, you will find a considerable amount of duel wielding Elites that not only duel wield plasma rifles or plasma pistols, but also needlers with various combinations. The thing I love most about this mod, is the heavy rain. *ENTIRE OCEANS WERE EVAPORATED DURING GLASSINGS.* Euridanus IV or something like that, John-117 ran into a couple other spartans and they basically did the smiley face emote to each other, and the other part I remember of the book (I don't remember what book) was the part that talked about the heavy rain from an entire river system getting evaporated when the covenant glassed a piece of human resistance that was too much for their ground forces.

It doesn't seem like that was the intention of the Modder though. The level Nightfall seems to be the only one (that was shown here) to have that heavy rain, however that level takes place before full scale hostilities broke out on Reach. Every level past Tip of the Spear that was shown here didn't have the rain. Seems the choice to add the rain was purely aesthetic.

Honestly the best part about the mod imo is just the better ai, it feels like in all shooters the ai is trash and you're the one doing all the work, I wish more games would have good ai so that way playing on the hardest difficulty on shooters would be a more enjoyable experience instead of one were your ai teammates are just shooting at nothing and getting staggered from getting shot all the time because they dont know how to shoot straight

Yea most shooters have you sit behind a wall and go pew pew. Maybe throw a nade now and then. Halo has enemies flanking, chucking nades, rushing you and they dodge when you shoot at them. It makes the campaigns so much more replayable imo

I just tried this out and I can’t stop playing it. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I was 9 when I first played Halo in 2001, and ever since. It’s been my favorite Franchise. I love the Spartan AI it does actually feel like I’m playing along with other players and that feels really good. Because until Halo Reach came out I’ve never played with other people. Just by myself, So this helped me and feel like I’m that 9 year old me again. Anyway My birthday is on the 13th of February, so it feels like a early gift. Later!

Playing with ai Spartans is what reach missed tbh. I have seen many halo mods in my life since halo modding started. But this, by far is the most amazing I’ve ever seen. I love the weapon variants and additions to the sandbox and I also enjoy the lore changes like friendly Spartan IIIs and green coloring on Noble Team. My only issue is it’s not the most balanced experience and I die from far away ridiculously quickly. Also I experience a weird bug where picking up the sword occasionally crashed the game lol. Seriously, credit to the mod creator, this mod feels like the precursor to an SPV3 style experience for MCC

A whole entire year late, but. Back when Vadam was in the early stages of Evolved (which you say this is based on) I recommended that the elites use the minor and officer armours as the main getup for elites, for more faithfulness to the original story/art style of the series. I'm kinda glad it stuck around at least for a while, even in offshoot mods! Mod looks neat. :>

This looks fantastic. I just got MCC PC after only ever playing on console. I'm excited to dive into Halo mods. It would be really nice to see some more weapon models though.. I know, it's not like everyone knows how to 3D model if they make mods or something, but everything new just being based on existing weapons with shader changes may get old. I noticed the silenced weapon variants have no distinguishing features, save the color overhaul. The AR having the same barrel but making pew pew silencer sounds seems.. off. Other than that this seems like an amazing way to spice up a campaign I've played countless times.

I think it would be cool to mod armor abilities for not only enhanced effects but passive effects added to it such as armor lock being able to magnetically attract all projectiles unto itself within a certain range in order to protect teammates as an enhanced ability but it also provides a small overshield upon spawning for that extra DMR headshot or melee survival. Or evade allowing you to automatically reload your weapon to allow for a counterattack but also allow you to regain health quicker as a passive ability in order to recover from a bad firefight. Jetpack can allow you to glide slowly to the ground instead of dropping like a rock after use but also allows players to increase any weapon's range and ADS range by 25%, allowing you to reach a higher spot and shoot from farther away and comfortably shoot enemies while gliding. Bubble shield can deflect weaker projectiles (needles, bullets, etc.) back to the enemy and destroy stronger projectiles (Rockets, mortars, etc.). It can also have a waypoint placed on it that will guide nearby allied players towards it in order to provide cover and heal them and the bubble shield and health regen get stronger the more players are inside the bubble shield, which also extends the bubble shield's time. Its passive ability allows you to provide an additional 25% vehicle resistance (stacks with more bubble shield users.) Sprint can allow players to shoot and reload/switch weapons while sprinting at a faster pace as well as hijack vehicles quicker while sprinting and allows you to climb objects while sprinting. It has a passive ability which allows you to climb and destroy a vehicle while another player is already boarding it, allowing players to finish off wraiths and scorpions quicker. Active camouflage would allow you to conceal not just the player but also 25% camouflage nearby players and remove their name from the enemy's HUD (stacks with more active camo users). Its passive ability allows you to add a waypoint to an enemy which would allow nearby players to focus fire on that enemy but the waypoint is active so long as the enemy is within the tagging player's line of sight. Decoy would allow players to tag an enemy for the decoy to directly chase after it or run off in a given direction. If an enemy is tagged, the decoy will mimic firing a weapon the player has equipped in order to further draw its attention. The decoy also has the same health, shield and camo level as the player deploying it, including overshields, making it something of a nuisance if an overshielded decoy is running after a player and confusing other enemies by firing with a fake assault rifle. The decoy can also mimic having objectives equipped, such as flag or bomb. Its passive ability allows players to highlight nearby weapons and vehicles for itself and nearby players, allowing for more decoy variety and further exploitation of the environment. Combining these armor abilities together with the team would result in some very interesting and creative tactics, such as a squad composed of 2 camo, 2 sprint and 1 decoy players huddled together actively tracking a tagged enemy scorpion in BTB then deploying an annoying decoy chasing after it as a distraction when they get close enough then having two sprint players pummeling it to bits. Or a pair of Jetpack guys standing on top of a cliff DMRing a tagged enemy with their 25% range added. Or armor lock drawing in fire from a scorpion shot towards itself while sprint players rush in and pummel it. Or armor lock drawing sniper fire towards itself while a jetpack sniper fires back. Or a decoy player highlighting weapons for an evade player to grab them and fight back. Or an evade player rolling towards a bubble shield or armor lock player for protection, healing and reloading quickly, then jumping back into the fight for a counterattack. Or an active camo driver tagging enemies with two bubble shield passengers providing vehicle resistance. Imagine an evade with spartan laser, immediately cooling after evading, or reloading with a sniper rifle, allowing him to punish vehicles and recover from DMR fights, then withdrawing back to camo, Bubble shield or Armor lock. Or sprint rapidly gaining an offensive advantage by climbing obstacles and reaching objectives quicker and fighting enemies while on the move, supported by smart, convincing decoys or Jetpack DMRs taking up long range positions to back up the offense or lying in wait with active camo in order to ambush enemies or rapidly hijack vehicles. Or evade snipers outsniping jetpack snipers for reloading faster or jetpack snipers outranging the evade snipers. It could go either way!
