As the god of forethought, why do you think Prometheus still chose to give fire to humanity, despite probably knowing he would be punished for it?

Congratulations on a fantastic show. Do you have any plans for an episode on the “Land of 1000 Gods” including the Hittite or Hurrian Pantheons, or the worlds oldest creation story on Atum and the Heliopolis creation myth, or on the work of Jacques Cauvin on the development of symbolic thought and the “Birth Of The Gods”, or any episodes on pre Indo European Palaeolithic or Neolithic religion?

Prometheus is also the name of the space crew in the alien universe where they take to the stars to steal engineer technology and bring it back to earth

An immortal existence thrives on faith. Zeus withheld fire, to force humanity into submission. Prometheus realized that taking a risk would account toward change of ideas. In stealing fire, he brought back purpose into the wellbeing of humanity...

The human liver is the only human organ that can regenerate/ regrow, about one-third is all that is needed for it to regrow. History and the ancients amaze me in this respect, did they know this fact as per the prometheus piunishment? Was this myth pre aschyleus?

Out of land and water were crafted but also land like clay yeap! And i have found Prometheus on Caucasus on one of my revelation video which shows that their mythology is true! Ofcourse may not be 100% perfect but at least were the most accurate! Also the Deucalion is a true story depicting also the ground deformations created after the cataclysm but as to the creation of the humans and peoples after that from rocks and stones is kind of sacred truth that we have lost our definition and the way it became along with the real childs of Pyrrha and Deucalion naming also after them the peoples from that fact. Another prometheus in our time could be Tesla... giving us the power or electricity and we may suffer from this if we have taken a wrong path or by using it in a wrong way as we do ... except the benefit we gained

Sometimes black metal makes reference to Prometheus as a giver of forbidden knowledge, like a gnostic kind of thing.

I always thought that it was stupid to interpret the fire that Promethius brought down to humankind as literal fire; when it should be obvious that he brought down the "divine" fire, the fire that does not burn the bush, the divine spark that makes us god-like, as well as, human and the creative spark of originality. Why would the Gods need literal fire or care if humankind was given literal fire. To answer one of the comments, by giving humankind "divine fire," humankind might eventually do to the Gods what the Gods did to the Titans. For Prometheus, it was probably a kind of revenge and/or out of a real concern for humankind, a way of permitting us to reach our full potential; contrary to what the Gods would have of us. Why else would their punishment have been so extreme.
