Chef here! Bamboo rice a short grain rice that is infused with bamboo juice which is where it gets it color/unique flavor. Great video and that Salmon looks incredible! I have been trying to get over to try the new menu.

The first bad decision was taking out the ICONIC waterfall! Seeing that walking in and Smelling the water was THE BEST!!!🌺 The Tower is terrible🥴takes away from the Polynesian landscape 100%! Also I’ve been SO bummed since they bulldozed the Luau🥲 I’ve been going there since 1971 and lots of family diners/memories there, especially either my Mom who has been gone Many years now💔That was her happy place💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️

I want to go to Kona Cafe the next time I am there. The Poly is one of my favorite resorts. I love that they have so many food options at the Poly. I love a good Dole whip. If I purchase a special drink/food item I want it to come like the picture/description says. Stitch is literally everywhere this season. I love Stitch ❤ I would love to be able to be a DVC member. I watched this video when it first posted but I forgot to comment so I rewatched it. Hope you had a great Halloween party and a the wonderful time at the wedding. Glad your house and Dasher survived the hurricane.

Everything looked good! Would love to try the pumpkin spice soft serve ice cream! I use crushed ginger snaps to make my crust for my pumpkin pie, instead of shortcrust pastry. Thorough enjoyed your vlog.

You know what would be really good at Kona ? If they made a pu-pu platter of all the apps served at ohanas and offered a second option of that yummy salmon dish with basmati rice and the yummy ohana wing sauce with veggies they use at ohana and marinated pineapple slices.

Love staying at Poly, those macrons looked delicious!! If you are staying at the Stanley Hotel it is spooky, took a tour there also, when we stayed there. We stayed on the 4th floor. It was very spooky!!
