Looks interesting, and it is something I could f a lot of my time on it, but it needs a lot of work still, just everything has to be a bit better

Totally agree with you. It's a very very early demo, so it's not too surprising that it needs a lot of work. I'm excited to see where the dev goes with it in the future!

The camera controlls should be standard flying in FPS, W forwards to where the mouse is pointing

That would be such an incredible change for the game. Add a couple of keyboard buttons to move up and down the Y axis and I think the camera controls would be solved.

Agreed. Lots of promise with this one. I hope that the dev can get the AI and the controls in order, I think this game could be great!

Not much fan of this art style anymore, feels like I see it too often. But the gameplay is quite interesting, despite the camera and controls fighting you all the time.

I think the art style is called voxel, if I'm not mistaken. It's not my favorite either, but I don't dislike it. Definitely agree on the gameplay being interesting. I think if the camera, controls, and AI get a bit of work then this game will be a banger.

The developer of the game specifically chose this style because the studio creating these assets is extremely talented, and the assets are very versatile to work with. The style is called Low Poly, not Voxel. Additionally, the studio provides a great variety within their assets, making them suitable for almost any genre.

@@dom3nik1997 My mistake! I think Voxel might be what Minecraft uses, I was way off. Thanks for the info! I wasn't trying to insult the art or the studio that makes it, I hope that it didn't come off that way!

@QuanticFlux No, it’s all good. That’s not how I understood it either. But I think one thing we need to keep in mind or remind ourselves of is that this isn’t a AAA development studio. It’s likely an early hobby project by a solo developer, and for that, it’s truly remarkable what they’ve created here.

The dev has done a much better job than I ever could have, and based on the pop-up when you start up the game they've only worked on it for four months so far. That's very impressive. Just like you said, it's a very early demo and I fully expect it to get better and better as time goes on.

the controls bothered me enough i dont want to play the free demo. until they change controls itll be a dead game for sure.

Unfortunately I think that you're right. The bright side though is that I think it should be relatively easy to modify the controls. The concept of the game is very solid, so I'm hopeful that with a little bit of polish the game will be great!
