Promoting Democracy in the 21st century

GIZ is a key actor in promoting and protecting democracy worldwide. We assist our partners every day on their way to democracy, leaving no one behind. We suggest 6 ways do to so: analysing democracy (1) and standing up for it (2), doing it together with allies and like-minded partners (3), focussing on young people (4), being context-sensitive and flexible at the same time (5), and celebrate and showcase progresses and impacts (6). GIZ is ready to contribute to shaping democratic futures of the people worldwide!
