I applaud your efforts and approach to modern foot aliments by using an ancient and deeply natural perspective that defies the conventional podiatry philosophy. I am currently trying to implement all of your generously shared wisdom to my feet. many thanks.

Wow. This was eye opening. I’d seen a podiatrist years ago, who said I had normal feet. Fast forward a few years. I’d lost flexibility in the bottom of my foot and ended up with medial tibial stress fractures and knee pain from running. My PT looked at my feet and said I overpronated. So did the expert at the running store. Doing your test, I’m actually not an overpronator! But when wearing running shoes (or any shoes for that matter), I OP. Guess I just need to exercise my feet more!

So what’s the fix?
@s.schulze97437 жыл бұрын
Very true! With the pinched in big toe, I am very much an overpronator myself. My feet fell victim to the malfunctional footwear and got damaged along the way of using female running shoes, conventional woman shoes and high heals. Et voilà, here is a patient for the so called health industry. My left food already had surgery after years with wrong shoes and foot orthodics. Since coming across your valuable video-messages, I have now other plans with both my right foot and also my still healing left foot, where the metal parts still need to be removed in Summer. Yesterday, I received my first Altra running shoe with a healthy toe box and due to my dire finances need to wait for next month for also purchasing correct toes and later exchanging my socks into five ´finger` type socks. Now, I am looking forward to the big difference of the combined healthy shoes and the correct alignment of my toes :-)

Hi there! there are not many podiatrists in Canberra, Australia who follow anything similar to your approach that I know of. Do you know any podiatrists/orthapaedic surgeons who follow your natural approach who live nearby in Canberra or in the NSW region of Australia? Thanks! I don't want my options for foot recovery to be limited to just orthotics so it would nice to find out if there is a healthcare provider nearby in my area :)

Hi, I watched your videos and I liked them very much. Very useful information. Thanks. I have a few questions. My son is 13 years old. He has been playing basketball since he was 8 years old. He is a licensed player in the club. He loves basketball and wants to be a professional player in the future. He is also very successful in swimming. His feet are a little slow in basketball. He wants to increase his speed and jump. But there is a flat feet( over pronate) problem. It is not a completely flat sole, but when you lift your foot, a pit is formed and it flattens when you press the ground. As far as I've heard, there is this problem with Useyin Bolt in running and kevin durent in basketball. My question is, does this problem prevent him from running, speeding and jumping? Can this obstacle be overcome? Can he play in the professional basketball league with a flat sole? Should he use insoles that will create a foot pit in his shoes? We would be very happy if you could answer all these questions.

I need major help. I'm an Athlete who exercises alot and on my feet for my sport. I have flat feet. And have had Plantar Fasciitis for the past 8 months now on one foot. However, I also seem to have bunion on that same left foot. My right foot seems fine. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help with my pronation as I notice this also is what has caused my bunion. I wish to control or reverse this bunion issue. As well care for the Plantar Facsitis. What would you consider? I already bout open toe shoes, and massaging, and heating. I'm unsure whether to try What NBA players shoot up their for healing Plantar.

very educative! do you recommend a special shoe that will give us the ability for nature toe position?
@RagnarHoff9 жыл бұрын
+WorldTrailRunners rw Try Lems or Altra shoes. Wide toe boxes that allows your toes to splay. Zero drop from heel to toe. Takes time to get used to, but once you do you will never go back to shoes with pointy toe boxes. If you have healthy feet and can wear minimal shoes i would also check out the Vibram Fivefingers.

+WorldTrailRunners rw You can find a list of all of our recommended shoes here: www.correcttoes.com/foot-help/shoe-list/. We recommend shoes that are flat from heel to toe, widest at the ends of the toes, and flexible so your foot can move naturally.
