i never understood induction forv the pst two years in advanced level and i avoided those questions at all cost .unfortunately wen i came to university i met INDUCTION but 1 hr on youtube with you changed everything.that was great.i like proving by induction now .thank you keep it up

Sitting through a four hour discrete math lecture where the professor can't teach and just reads out of a discrete math textbook so you have to teach yourself by reading through the same part of the same discrete math textbook all over again. It's because we assume true for n=k (the line with 4+9+14+19+...+(5k-1)) = k/2(3+5k). Therefore, if you substitute in for the 4+9+14+19+...+(5k-1) bit for n=k+1, then you get the k/2(3+5k).
