He’s the best country guitarist by a mile right. Brad paisley is extreme good but too one dimensional. However, KU’s roots show up to much in concert. He is basically a studio guitarist and it does show. He’ll solo note for note off the album, which is impressive, but give ma some improve. John Mayer is the best mainstream guitarist out there right now.

Well said Don. All accomplished guitar players can play the best licks, solos & whole songs of any other great guitar player (not a bad thing though), but originality in the musical arrangements is what I like to hear. Keith could have done that and maybe one day he might just bring us something totally new & fresh. I think if a live artist plays other guitarist's solos, they've got to make it a treat for the audience to experience. Junior Brown can do that. And John Five has done it also. As a country player, I am impressed with Keith's ability ... I'd like to see him on stage with JD Simo, Albert Lee, Johnny Hiland, Arlen Roth, Duke Levine, Jason Loughlin, Bobby Brewer, and Greg Koch too :)

He might be very popular and no doubt has a killer voice and great stage presence but best guitar player? I don’t think so. I’ve seen guys on broadway that blow him away. And you might want to check out Brent Mason, Tom Bukovac, Guthrie Trapp, Andy Wood, Ford Thurston Corey Congillio or Justin Ostrander. These are truly the hired guns of Nashville to name a few. If you made this video you either don’t play guitar or you have very limited knowledge of guitar and or guitar technique.

Coming from an ok guitar player, this was pretty disappointing given the video title. There's so many country players that can do WAY more on guitar. Paisley comes to mind.
