A=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
where s is the semi-perimeter of the triangle; that is,
s=a+b+c/2
Heron's formula is used to determine the area of triangles when lengths of all their sides are given or the area of quadrilaterals. We also know it as Hero's formula.
