I was born and raised Catholic. My mother instilled the love for the Mass, the Rosary, Mary, the Eucharistic etc. I always told people “the Catholic Church is the one and true church”. Around age 17 I began to read the Bible and thank God that in his mercy he called me out of a dead religion. When you come to know Christ, he is more than enough. Even if Mary, and the “saints” could actually hear us, the mercy of Christ is more than enough for our prayers. Praised be God who sets the captive free.

Ha Ha if you bothered to read the bible you would find the only passage on "Faith alone is in Timothy where it says "We are not saved by faith alone ..." .. Eusebius of Caesarea, trusted Church historian valued as authoritative on most subjects regarding the early Church, wrote in A.D. 303, “[In the second] year of the two hundredth and fifth Olympiad [A.D. 42]: The apostle Peter, after he has established the church in Antioch, is sent to Rome, where he remains as a bishop of that city, preaching the gospel for twenty-five years” (The Chronicle [303]). Of course in context Peter is sent by God and as we know all Bishops of Rome were also leaders of Christs Church !!

FJ Jack Oh my gosh!!! I see it!!! I never made that connection in Ezekiel. Totally amazing. Plus when you think about it, the tribulation period is called the “time of Jacob’s trouble.” That seven year time period is all about the last week that still needs to be fulfilled in the 70 week prophecy from Daniel. God has promised to restore Israel, the apple of His eye, but the Jews must still suffer for their rejection of the Messiah when He came as a suffering servant. It makes Biblical sense that Mystery Babylon is Jerusalem. So what about the scarlet and purple? Does that have to do with the scarlet and purple that were used in the temple and priests’ robes? And what role does the Vatican play in all of this? Do you have any thoughts on who the Antichrist might be, or where he’ll be from? My head is spinning right now. But in a good way! ✝️

I was Catholic and I mean devout for 32 years. I read the Gospels for the first time when I was 27, when I was on a military mission and could not go to church. I went to parochial school for 12 years, and we never opened a Bible. But after reading the Gospels, I knew something was wrong and opposed to Christ's teachings. Then in 1992, I read Revelation. When I read Revelation 17, I could clearly see it was describing the Roman Catholic Church. I made the decision to flee the Harlot church. And boy oh boy, what I have learned since makes me 100 percent sure I made the right decision.

And we know this isn’t true, every boy was circumcised within 7 days of being born. Baptism is no different. In fact, St Paul directly compares circumcision and Baptism: “having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. - Colossians 2:12-13 And St Peter says: “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.” So even children can be baptized.

It's pretty obvious you've never attended even a single Catholic Mass, because at every single one of them there is a reading from the OT, the NT, AND the Gospel. If you ONLY went to mass and didn't read the Bible, then you'd get about 90% of the Bible's word in just 3 years of attendance. Meanwhile, go to a protestant service, and you get almost NO bible readings, just crazy assertions with a book and verse after it. Much like the poster above: "Prayers to dead saints: (Deut. 18:10-11 says; it's a abomination)" - Deut. 18:10-11 is talking about necromancy, not asking for prayers from our departed brothers and sisters in Christ.

Edward, I think I understand what you are saying. From the top down, most Catholic churches don't teach what the word is saying. I have several friends that I've known very well for over 4.5 decades that are Catholic. Some don't read the Bible on their own and follow only what they church wants them to believe. I agree with you, the Catholic Church wants to interpret scripture and they don't want you praying to the Holy Spirit for discernment. They are trying to lead God's People away. Jesus acknowledged His mother as anyone other christian. Yes, she is called the blessed one, but she has no powers to be a co-redemeer! satan is being given more power as the bible tells us in these last days. Father God promises to pour out His spirit and give us dreams, visions, and revelations, the Pope doesn't receive these, so heaven help you if your don't have the Holy Spirit guiding you, which the Pope says doesn't exsist. Talk about hopelessness that goes against God's word. BTW, several of my friends that I've known since high school that I can see the Holy Spirit in, that are Catholic, are like yourself and are in the midst of walking away from the Church for a multitude of reasons. In one instant her mother just passed away and her mother who had attended all her life faithfully, ran into difficulties with the priest being too busy that she wanted to preside over her funeral. She had cancer and had set this up ahead of time. Anyway, the priest that carried the service did a terrible job of the funeral and it was so in-personalized it could have represented anyone, yet the Church seemed to want money! This can BTW happen at any Protestant Church too. I believe satan is alive and well in all Churches. The book of revelations clearly indicates how unhappy Father God is with the Churches and only one came somewhat close to the mark! There are Holy Spirit filled people in practically all Churches that aren't cults, and many are not. Jesus said if you love me, then you will do my Father's Will. He also said you won't be coming through the door even if you cast out demons in my name, it your didn't know Him or repent. The practice of the Eucharist is older than the Bible itself, being practiced by the Christian churches age before the Bible was even put together. The Catholic belief is that the Eucharist is the real presence of Christ, so I would think again about calling it an abomination. Rome also "changed" the Sabbath from the seventh day of the week to Sunday. The Bible says that the Mystery,Babylon/Antichrist/beast would seek to "change times and laws". The only commandment out of the 10 Commandment Law that has to do with time is the 4th Commandment in which God tells us that the 7th day is His Sabbath. Rome admits to "changing" the Sabbath and calls it "mark of it's Ecclesiastical authority". (So what is the Mark of the Beast? It will be enforced Sunday worship.) The Sunday keeping Protestant churches split away from the Catholic Church and continued to keep Sunday as their day of worship without realizing that they were still keeping Sunday holy because of what the Catholic Church did many years before. No where does it say in the Bible that God ever changed the Sabbath to Sunday. And to those who say that the Sabbath was only for the Jews, The Bible says that Christians are spiritual Jews. I used to think that too until I did a really deep dive into the book of Revelation. Mystery Babylon has to be a church more so than a place. A counterfeit bride. America certainly will be judged for its sins and iniquities, as all nations will be. And America runs on primarily Babylonian principles. However, in the scope of the world, America is a new nation. It's not likely John would be speaking about an 18th century nation when this was written in the 1st century. The Catholic Church exalts itself above all churches as the "mother church." A female diametrically opposed to the bride. And the Catholic Church most definitely isn't spotless and continues to spew blasphemous inaccuracies contrary to Jesus' teachings. There has been hush hush talk of a completely new age religious convergence called Chrislam as possibly being the one world religion. The Pope has his hands in that as well. It was written in response to some Protestant ministers who wanted to keep the worlds fair closed on Sundays. Rome wrote this article to show that the Bible in no way supports the idea that Sunday is the Lord's day unless you recognize Rome's authority to ordain holy days. It was very well written.

I might insert an addendum here though arguing that America is actually an additional part/section of Babylon that is tightly knit together with -- and controlled by -- the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). In other words, in Revelation 17 we see TWO (not one) entities: (1) the whore & (2) the Beast upon which she rides and which she controls. Revelation 16:9 states that in a great earthquake to come, "the great city was divided into three parts." I would argue that the "three parts of Babylon" consist of: (1) Rome, (2) New York City, and (3) Washington DC -- and Rome controls the other two cities...for now, but not forever. Why not forever? Because Revelation 17:16-17 clearly states that this Beast's horns will utterly destroy her near the End. She will be knocked off his back and then trampled under foot. In other words, I believe that the Antichrist who will have been so carefully and painstakingly placed into power by "her" -- once he's IN POWER -- will turn on her, betray her, and destroy her, refusing to share ANY power with anyone else. He alone will set himself up as God at the [Third] Temple in Jerusalem (cf., 2 Thes 2:4). Zechariah 5:9-11 states that a woman called wickedness will be carried in a basket to Shinar/Babylon. I would argue that "she" (the variously-named "Queen-of-Heaven" goddess [Ishtar, Venus, Diana, Mary, Columbia, etc]) has progressively moved westward to finally arrive at the "the hindermost [last chronologically in history] of the nations." This last-of-all-nations is equated to "her" in Jeremiah 50:12. This "hindermost [latest] of the nations" IS her -- or rather, I would argue, an aspect/part of her...as in, under her control. Rome now completely dominates the District of Columbia (side note: "Columbia" is yet another goddess...see Columbia Pictures, etc). Commencing on January 20, 2021, America will have: (1) a Roman Catholic president, (2) a Roman Catholic Speaker of the House, (3) 7 out of 9 Roman Catholic SCOTUS's, including the esteemed Knight of Malta, John Roberts as its Chief Justice, (4) Half of its Senate membership as Roman Catholics. That is not even mentioning the innumerable heads of various government agencies (CIA, etc) and the military who are Roman Catholic. NYC is also dominated by Rome, but I won't go into that here. With America now completely dominated by the RCC, I believe that it will very soon commence its end-game of instituting its grand design of a One World Government. Rome will move upon its proxy power America to soon precipitate a war with China & Russia (the Kings of the East & North). The resulting conflagration from that war will motivate (nearly) all the surviving peoples of the world to cry out for a One World Government. The U.S. president (I'm not sure who he'll be) will then step forth as the long-awaited Antichrist. And, as stated above, he will destroy his "Mother," taking all power to himself...but only within the time period of Daniel's 70th week (7 years) following which the "stone [that] was cut out without hands" (Dan 2:34) -- Jesus Christ, the ROCK!! -- will utterly defeat him. The Roman Catholic Church views Mary as the woman clothed with the sun in the Book of Revelation 12:1-3: "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

The Lord Jesus states in Scripture that those who are faithful to Him and overcome will sit with Him on His throne, and that those who suffer with Him will reign with Him, He makes people kings and priests unto God. He honors His mother who faithfully served Him all through His earthly life, and beyond. Jesus Christ is God incarnate, therefore Mary is the Mother of God. The Bible quotes Mary in the Magnificat as testifying that God has magnified her. It is quite in order to view her as reigning with her divine Son in heaven. Mary is certainly in heaven, as all the faithful departed are. The faithful overcomers reign with Him, Why would you try to deny this of His Mother? I am not writing this as a supporter of the modern papacy. The beliefs concerning the Lord's Mother are Scriptural and more ancient than the papacy.

@@anselman3156 Even in the Bible, Jesus doesn't refer to Mary as His mother. He calls her, "Woman", and when she and His half brothers wanted to see Him, Jesus responded that those who do the Will of His Father are His mother, sisters, and brother. Mary *brought forth" the Christ child as the Bible says, but she is not the "mother of God". Nowhere in the Scriptures is she referred to as the mother of God. That's not "denying His mother", that's the truth in the Scriptures.

@@TheMistysFavs The Bible calls Mary the mother of Jesus, and it makes clear that Jesus is the Word of God (Who is God-John 1.1), Immanuel, God with us. For that reason, it is correct to say, as a very early Council of the Church said, that she is the Mother of God. To deny that she is the Mother of God is to deny that Jesus is God incarnate. When Jesus called her Woman, at the Cana wedding and when on the cross, He was identifying her as the woman of Genesis 3.15, who would bear the promised seed, the Saviour. I think it likely that, as a perfect human being, Jesus would have called His mother "mother", and honoured her as such in obedience to His eternal moral law (see 10 commandments). Recording in Scripture her great title of Woman affirms her role as mother of the Saviour. When Jesus said blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it, Luke 11.28, He would have included His Mother, as one who was exemplary in obeying God and serving Him completely. You should not doubt Jesus' promise that those who faithfully serve Him and suffer for Him will reign with Him in glory. Even now, in heaven, Mary His Mother is seated with Him, sharing in His glory. Read what Jesus says about this in such places as Revelation 3.21. It would be very unbecoming of a Christian to resent that privilege being given by the Lord to His Blessed Mother.

X-Catholic 64 years ago, at 12. "Mother Of GOD." No, mother of Our Lord on this earthly plane. Not Plaster statues; Artwork and Graven images of anything in Heaven; beneath the earth or beneath the Sea. Not My Mother; NOT The Pope or your favorite Movie Idol.

This video puts me in fear , I am Catholic and when I read revelation amd those colours come up and now when I go to church it’s all I can think about rich royal colours amd robes that would cost more then my closet , I always wondered why Am I to late if I was baptized amd had my children baptized, I feel so much doubt about my church I want to run from it
