I have a few Catholic friends that think all you have to do is attend Mass and believe there is a "God". I tell them they must be Born Again and have a 24/7 Personal Relationship with Jesus. All I can do is tell them, but you can tell it turns them off. They also know nothing about the Rapture and the Tribulation Period and don't want to hear about it. I feel sorry for them and I am praying for the Rapture to happen VERY SOON because I KNOW about the Tribulation Period.

As a cathodic, this is hard to hear, but I have broken from the Catholic church years ago. I never felt right about it. Even my die hard catholic mother knows this pope is not of God. I went to a catholic church one time when I was a kid because I was staying with a friend for a sleep over for the weekend. So, the family took us to church with them and I was like yea! I love church let's go! Once I stepped into the church I kid you not, each hair on the back of my neck and arms stood straight up. It was so incredibly spooky and uncomfortable for me. I felt so out of place and couldn't get out of there fast enough! The chanting and bells or whatever it is that they do really threw me for a loop as well. I just felt pure evil all around me and nearly was in tears when I finally got home. Now I know why! :(

@Michael Parsons I have wondered. I know that the anti-Christ will deceive many, even the saints, and will be worshipped. People will say “peace”….which we would do if he is re-elected. I voted for Trump, but the hair on my neck stands up when I see some of the euphoric fawning over him….even in foreign countries. Antichrist needs to be someone all countries will join with willingly. I like the policies and stand against abortion and war……as time goes by, cracks start appearing and he sometimes seems to be ugly when it isn’t needed. The last trump(trumpet) ….that too really makes me wonder. And too, he is being attacked, “crucified” if you will publicly and unrighteously. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and he copies God then perverts it to be evil. If this is true, I hope people wake up and see it as mimicking Christ where it really isn’t. I guess it doesn’t matter who it actually is, no one will be able to stop him. And why would we want to? I would far prefer going home than spending more time in this evil world. There is, however, a concern in the back of my mind….how many saints will be lost because they cannot see and discern…and end up following this man into the pits of hell as they worship him as their savior? May the Lord bless us all with the eyes to see clearly and that we not be led astray.

Robert, I grew up hearing about the way the catholic church is from my parents. My dad was born on the border between Mexico and Arizona territory. They told me about a catholic church, in Mexico, where a lot of babies corpses were found. My grandparents lived on the border during a war between the Mexicans and Americans. I learned a lot about the catholic church and I thank God for my parents.

A great history we use is mystery of history...vol 1 and 2. Its for homeschool but it starts in Genesis and runs world history right with the bible. The Whore of Babylon is first century Jerusalem riding the back of pagan Rome. It was Jerusalem, the “Great City” that killed the prophets of old, rejected Jesus as the Messiah and said , “ we have no king but Caesar.” Along with Rome, they were responsible for putting Jesus to death. His whole approach to Revelation is incorrect. It wasn’t written in chronological order of only for a future fulfillment. Those who interpret it as events yet to happen miss the message of John. So yes I have problems with the interpretation that says the Catholic Church is Babylon. John says that this “Great City” is the Whore in Revelation 17:18 and in Rev 11:8 he says “the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.” That is Jerusalem, not Rome or a future city. Revelation primarily has a first century fulfillment.

I helped lead one of my dearest friends to Jesus over twenty years ago, and in the first couple of years this guy was just starving for anything and everything Jesus!! He would ask me questions about scriptures and life circumstances constantly all day every day! He called me one day and told me there was a prophecy seminar going on in a church in a town about 45 minutes West of us and he had no details such as which church or who the speaker was or anything, and I was weary but he was so excited because that was a time when I was teaching him about prophecy, so I agreed to take him and two of my sons also came along. My boys were in there twenties at the time. So we find the church and there was a pretty good turn out, but although there were some professional posters I couldn't find a single piece of info related to which church was putting this thing on, and I became really uneasy. So we all four walked into this fairly large old church, it had to be well over 100 years old, and quite plain with high open ceiling. As soon as I sat down I turned to my sons and my buddy Donny and I said "fellas, God is not in this building" and they all looked really confused! Right away my middle son asked "What do you mean Dad"? I meant exactly what I said, I do not feel the Holy Spirit in this building at all!! Now, I'm not one to have "feelings" because that gets sketchy in itself, I've seen people take that too far to where suddenly they think they're "psychic" or "empathic" that is NOT Godly! That was the first time I ever had such a powerful feeling to where I actually said something, because I felt a distinct darkness about that church. Sure enough when the speaker starts going he's emphasizing his narrative with this bizarre body movement where as every time he wanted to accentuate a point he would literally spin on his heels to where he was facing the opposite direction as when he began this weird spin, and when he completed this spin he would sort of set his upper body as his feet and legs came to a stop his upper body went left and right as though on some kind of robotic spring! I know you'll never be able to envision this but think of the horrific disco days, we've all seen the robot dance, well that's kind of what this guy was doing. It was weird but I also got a distinct dark feeling about the entire presentation. None of the pamphlets identified which church he was representing and that was the big clue which exposed who they were for me. There's one "religious" CULT which do this, the Latter Day Saints!! DUN! DUN! DUN!!!! (cue screaming woman) I decided to stay because I wanted to say something to this fraud! As we were leaving he was standing at the church doors shaking people's hands and engaging in some quick banter. When I shook his hand I said "nice speech" and he took my meaning immediately!! Strange, but as the line was getting closer and closer I observed this guy and he was relaxed and smiling until he laid his eyes on me. For whatever reason, he looked at me and his smile instantly dropped and he had a worried expression!! The entire ordeal was just bizarre!! So, "nice speech" and why don't you identify your branch in the adds or pamphlets? I didn't hang long enough for a reply, I was being rhetorical and he saw that. Folks, we need to be very careful about these cults, they know their warped fake demonic doctrines but most also know ours and they all have down pat answers to questions which folks who may not be strong with scriptures can get fooled by. We had a neighbor right beside us before I built our new house by the lake and there was a lovely single mom and her teenaged daughter. Very very nice people very polite and no trouble at all!! They were Christians and attended the Baptist church we used to attend...before the pastor had an affair with my wife good friend!! They were both married, in fact the pastor was counselling the woman and her husband who were having marital issues, then this "paster" has an affair with her!! They both left and divorced their spouses and got married. One day this "paster" sits the woman down and confesses that he had been secretly filming her teenaged daughter in the bathroom!! He thought the girl found out otherwise he would never have admitted it!! Irony is, the girl had no clue!! So, that broke up the church! Another pastor took over and I hear he's quite nice but we've moved on! Anyway, one day I see this woman and her daughter out walking the neighborhood with the JWs!! They got her ear and she fell for it!! We tried to tell her what those folks were about but they had their hooks in her!! After a very short time they had her not allowing the girl's father, who was a very nice man, see his daughter!! He wouldn't agree to attend their "church" and he wasn't ready to reconcile the marriage in that cult! He wanted to get his marriage back, as did the woman, but the JWs insisted they do it in their building and he had to become a member!! When he refused, the woman stopped giving him visits and stay overs at his house which were court ordered!! We moved but we're told the husband had been asking around because his ex wife and daughter suddenly up and moved and he had no idea where they were!! Typical JW tactics!! Thank you for staying true to what the gospel says about staying away from everything of pagan origin and speaking the truth about freemasonry.
