Its just practice! If you practice everyday for a several hours and years. Your muscles memory comes into play it all starts to snowball. The only real talent any artist has is the ability to slog through the shit to come out on the other side a perfectionist! I think the only real exception to this rule are vocalists but it still takes training to hit real high notes.

The reason the video is titled "Proof he is a robot", is because, if you watch closely while in slow motion, the other three extremities that he was using when he lost the drumstick, were still playing the drums, beat for beat, perfectly, while the WHOLE of his attention is needed and required, to catch the drumstick whilst spinning, and in mid-flight, then proceeds to catch it, all while not slowing down or missing a beat, then just picks up where he left off with the right hand which lost the drumstick...The dude is a freaking robot man😮
