Proof that Function Composition is Associative

The format is a bit of confusing, the composition symbol only goes from left to right, also if you think of 'o' as 'of' it can confuse your mind. I instinctively read '((h o g) o f) as 'f composition (h composition g)' -- whereas it's '(h composition g) composition f' -- once you recognize how composition should be read symbolically, it clicks. -- but to that point are the parentheses even necessary anymore?
