Nope, the problem is scale. A Doctor is VERY VERY well paid for the scale of work they do. A Doctor does a great job and saves 3 people a day (and can't do more than that). That's really good. Ryan Reynolds (just as an example) makes a funny movie that is watched by millions, and adds joy to their lives. The Doctor does more for the individual, but the entertainer does less for FAR FAR more people. They all get paid just right. It's ok to not like, it, I'm pretty jealous of them too. But we only see the value of the entertainment to one individual (us, personally), you have to multiply that by millions to start to grasp what they actually offer to society. For a really good entertainer, they're not paid that much for what they actually do.
